Naracoorte Caves Carpark

Large sealed carpark with spaces for caravans too. Picnic tables located next to the carpark in amongst the beautiful trees and plenty of clear signage in the area to point you in the right direction.

A must see for those travelling toward Mt Gambier or coming from the Great Ocean Road. A small donation to enter bud worth the time for this hidden gem.

Follow the point to park the car first before you start to explore the caves . It’s just 3/5 minutes walk from here to visiting centre.

The carpark needs a pin so one can find where to drive. (It is free and plenty of it). The national park pin is good for reviews but not for navigation.
We visited just one cave today, seen them all more than once, just wanted some walks around the rest of the park. Anything related to the caves is maintained well. Access to the other parts of the park is harder than it should be, gates and roads closed and signage is sparse or missing altogether.

Plenty of room to park and even an overflow part when crowds are large. Careful of the ants however that hang out along the sides of the parking area. They can swarm particularly when it's hot.

A good, short tour for the whole family. The staff was very accommodating and seems to love their job. Turning the lights off inside the cave was the best part.
