Very interesting fossils to look at while waiting for a cave tour after purchasing tickets here or picking up the online booking tickets which I recommend to do to save disappointment of missing out. I highly recommend booking the Alexandra cave tour, you will be amazed and it is money worth spent. Considering a visit to the cinema to see a movie costs about the same but this is an unforgettable experience.

Very interesting place to visit. You can go inside different caves for a tour the shortest is 30 min tour for Alexandra Cave where you get to see the geological process that forms these. It is full of speleothems – stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. You’ll be amazed by the contrast between delicate needle-like stalactites and massive twisting columns. Very beautiful inside the cave.
Book your tickets in advance if possible otherwise you may have to wait as tours are at certain times.
Parking available at the place.

We visited Alexandra caves, duration 30'. Choosed this because was the first time for us with kids (4yo and 3yo) so we didn't know how they behave inside. Is very easy and my kids liked it a lot.
The tour guy was good, explained everything and even If your English isn't very good, you can understand him ☺

Went here with the 6 kids and they all had a blast. Was cool seeing actual fossils and teaching them a thing or two. Alot of work has gone into this place with displays.
Would recommend, allow about 30min.

A wonderful place to spend the day! We unfortunately didn't get to go down into any of the caves as we made the mistake of coming on a public holiday, so the tours were booked well in advance and most of the caves are inaccessible without a guide (which is fair enough as I imagine these wonders would get destroyed if unmonitered access was given). While we intend to return to visit the caves and fossils at a later date, even just walking around on the beautiful grounds was fantastic. There are some wonderful picnic facilities and a great kids playground, there's the info centre with some great little exhibits, and there's a nice litle cafe that has little blue fairy wrens flying all around and landing right by the tables. We look forward to returning at a later date, but will remember to book tours in advance.

Even though I was unable to go down in any of the caves, there was still so much to see and do! I was able to go through the Wonambi Fossil Centre, which takes about 15-20 minutes to go through, highly recommended! We then went for a walk around the Roof Top Loop Walk, totally accessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility aides etc. There is a playground on site, coin operated bbqs, picnic tables everywhere, a Cafe and toilet facilities available. There is a cost for access to the fossil centre as well as the caves themselves, but they are reasonably priced. Oh, and I highly recommend the coffee at the Cafe! There are also plenty of souvenirs in the Cafe to purchase. Overall well worth the visit!

We did the Victoria Caves guided tour, which was wonderful. It was so interesting to learn about the over 500,000 year history of this area. Our guide Des was relaxed, informative and friendly. Make sure you allow enough time to take in the displays at the Wonambi Fossil Centre.

Great place to visit if you love learning about geology and Australia’s past. The main information centre is where you can buy tickets to a range of cave tours and look at the displays showing the world heritage significance of the site. Our tour guide Gav was highly knowledgeable about the caves and bat biology.

The cafe has great hot chocolate and a range of meals, most between $15-$20. A small range of souvenirs can also be purchased. Toilets are clean and tidy.

This main area and the above ground walk is wheelchair friendly, however you must be physically mobile to do the caves as there are stairs involved.

A fantastic experience for the whole family and the best adventure in Naracoorte. Our guide Andrew was engaging and approachable and had the kids wanting to learn more and excited about fossils and caves. Recommend the cave tour with guide to really learn about the History is the region. Above ground the loop to look over the caves is wheelchair accessible as is the cafe and centre. Plenty of parking and areas to explore.
