Real friendly staff and great American diner food. Definitely will be back!

The Chicken Biscuit sandwich was really tasty. Not filling but tasted great. Might need to see if you can order two up front. Drink wise, their old fashioned lemonade is really refreshing as well.

Love this diner!!! It was like a blast back to happy memories from my American holidays. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.
Service was really friendly and fun. Good food. Good people. My kind of place.

Short Order is one of the most charming places to eat in Glenelg and it’s my favourite go to place. I fell in love when I first walked in. It’s New York diner aesthetic is just awesome. The food is equally as awesome.

They have the best bagels in all of Adelaide, and from someone who loves and tried many bagels here, they’re amazing. But bagels aren’t just what they only do. They’re menu is chock full of delicious food!

The staff are super friendly too! It has everything going for it!

Absolutely amazing Texas style bacon sandwich... the lovely lady was kind enough to walk it across the road to me while I was working across the road. Not only was the food incredible, the service was phenomenal.

A hidden gem just off the main strip of Glenelg. If you are a Adelaide local or visiting South Australia visiting Short Order is a must. The New York cuisine is fantastic and the menu choices will cater for everyone’s taste. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you won’t be disappointed. Super friendly staff that just want to help you have a great time and a very enjoyable meal. After visiting Short Order I’m sure you will want to go back, I know I am.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough... the coffee is amazing, the food is to die for (try the fully loaded hash browns). Working my way through the menu because every dish is better than the last. Chilli bacon & egg brioche is the original version before everyone else copied it. If you like yr New York diner style food, you have to visit Short Order 😍🤘

First time going here the other day, and we loved it! Our waitress was lovely, very friendly staff, lovely decor in the cafe reminded me of a diner in movies! Food and drink were a great price and lovely taste. Definitely coming back soon!!

Outstanding cafe/diner! As an American ex-pat in Australia for many years, this is the first place I’ve ever had good hash browns or American style bacon in Oz. American gourmet diner menu, with Melbourne style coffee, and an Aussie flare.

Fantastic breaky! Bacon was perfect, homemade sausage patty was delish and the biscuits and hashbrowns were amazing. A wonderful taste of home in my backyard. Thank you. Will most definitely be back!

This place is amazing. So much awesome food on the menu just means I'll keep coming back to try all of it. And the bottomless cup of coffee made me feel like I was back home in the USA. If only you could find a way to get some "half and half" coffee creamer over to this country it would be even more perfect!

Great range of food, service is excellent, and great to go somewhere that’s not just the standard bacon and eggs/granola bowl affair. Love the little taste of America, captures the diner feel perfectly!

Epic! American Dinner style food absolutely nailed. Biscuits and gravy was phenomenal. Brilliant service and great brewed coffee. It’s a must.

Very nice establishment with a slightly out of the ordinary menu system. Order small serves of a range of foods that are rich in flavour. Bit like a degustation. Apparently they change the menu items from time to time so you can have new experiences each time you go. Our favourites were the camember cheese wrapped in panchetta and the duck donut. They also sell a range of craft beers and wines from smaller less heard of wineries. All in all, a great experience.

A huge shout out to Nathaniel what a superstar. I came in this morning with a client who has intellectual disabilities. He went that extra mile and certainly wears his heart on his sleeve. Coffee was perfect! Even though flat out busy he stayed calm and polite through out the chaos. Your a Gem Nathaniel. Thankyou for putting a huge smile on my clients face and mine too. Stay Real.

Awesome for a megga variety of breakfast. Several cereal type funky things plus plenty of yummy grease options and things you will not find on a y standard brekkie menu. If U are into groovy breakfast this place is a must do
