Lakeside Quality Butcher

Lovely country butcher's, friendly staff and clean shop. It is not only where you buy meat ,they sell hot chickens (yummy), knives, salads, sushi and assortment of condiments. There was a variety of meat at a reasonable prices.

Called into Lakeside Quality Butcher, not only do they sell great quality meat but they have friendly staff with excellent customer service. The shop was clean and meat was well presented.

Excellent local butcher shop - great range of meat products plus local fresh mullet - I brought some mullet - absolutely fresh and delicious - the burgers and snags were fantastic- friendly staff couldn’t do enough

We wandered into this small butchery on our way through from Robe to Mclaren Vale today, as we like to support small businesses - well, not knowing what we fancied for dinner but either sausages or savoury mince, we ended up with both. The mince, already being cryovac in 500g lots was an easy decision, BUT the big surprise was the very green chicken and spinach sausages which we just had to try: OMG they are the most delicious sausages we have tasted in some time- give them a try (& we came all the way from Cairns FNQ to find these!). Thank you to the lady behins the counter who said, "they are my recipe." Love them.

Visited on the way through town- the shop was very clean, well stocked, and the staff knowledgeable. Prices were cheaper than supermarkets!!!! Very impressed

Best meat in Australia and really friendly service

Lovely staff … wanted fillet steak but not available thought we would try the only cut available which was porterhouse … sorry to say when cooked we couldn’t eat it - so tough - so disappointing - threw away most of the steak . We use steak mate app to cook our cuts of steak and have never had a failure . Would not recommend purchasing steak - which we though would be safe from a country butcher .

Group of us got food poisoning from dodgy sausages, trying to contact them has been a nightmare im putting in a report to the health and safety inspectors
