Lovely country bakery, open on a Sunday…amazing!
I had a beef pie, which was delicious, hubby had Cornish Pasty, he highly recommends that too!
Coffee was great too and the atmosphere was great!!

The café building is a lovely, open building with a wonderful atmosphere. There is plenty of seating available inside and out. There is a wide variety of food options at a great place and, although I didn’t try them, the desserts look delicious!

When stopping in Bordertown do yourself a favour, avoid the generic road stops on the bypass and go into town for the amazing food at Morning Loaf. We loved the vegetarian pasty.

Cool atmosphere, we only bought drinks but food looked good. Excellent location.

Possibly best meat pie I've ever had in my life. Also had a spinch/feta pasty and a chicken pie which were both just OK

Love the environment for both outdoor and indoor. It gave me true country feeling and help me relaxed and calming down.

The only part that I think ok but not excellent is food. But kids love the ice cream there.

Stopped in for some breakfast and the staff were friendly, welcoming and happy. Plenty of tables to sir down at and it is a large well planned out area.

Always stop here when we travel Melb. To Adelaide. Lots of character, history and relaxing billabong. Awesome pasties and great coffee and service.

After reading some "interesting " reviews about this place, I thought I better give it a go.
When I first entered, I was greeted with a friendly hello from every lovely person behind the counter.
The products looked nice and fresh with a good selection of pies and cakes.
It's not the most awesome pie I've ever had, but it's certainly not the worst.
The coffee was pretty good to and all up a good experience.
The building inside is full of interesting memorabilia and the old police station.
This was a good experience so I will return

I don't know how this place could get a bad review. Some people are too hard to satisfy. I stopped yesterday and was given the best,
most friendly service by both ladies on duty. The price I paid, I thought a mistake had been made it was so cheap!! I was charged 10 times more for the same item back along the track. The unique and welcoming interior was such a surprise. I generally avoid bakeries as I often come away feeling let down but this was an experience that lifted my spirits.

Very interesting place to stop on the drive between Adelaide and Melbourne. Plenty of parking available. Inside is divided into a section for takeaway and dine-in, which was nice. We ate in so it was good not having lots of people coming and going near us. We tried the pies and sausage rolls, all tasty. I had a chocolate milkshake which was delicious. The collection of olden day memorabilia is awesome and the staff were all friendly and quick to serve us. Prices are good.

Good place off the main highway to stop for a meal with added benefit of gift shop and information office.

Great pies, pasties & sausage rolls! Excellent coffee and cakes too. Absolutely lovely staff. Great pit-stop on the Melbourne-Adelaide route.

Wow, what a collection of antiques and memorabilia. You can browse for ages and still be finding new stuff

Gorgeous Private Museum with hot food and kids play area. Ten stars for that!

What a unique little gem of a bakery in Bordertown!
When I walked into the Morning Loaf Bakery, it was definitely not what I expected! So many cool things to look at whilst waiting for our morning hot chocolates! The size was incredible and I was just fascinated looking at everything!

The lovely lady who served us was so helpful with making a choice of which pie to choose (even though I didn't go with her recommendations - deep down I knew I wanted the chicken pie!)
The pie was yummy! Cooked perfectly and with delicious pastry!!
I also treated myself to a vanilla slice! Perfect size to fill the sweet cravings!

I am excited to come back someday for another visit, and actually try the suggested Ned Kelly pie!

Add a bit of tomato sauce and u have the perfect combination
