Dr Anna Manolopoulos Melbourne Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Anna is lovely and very easy to communicate with. I was scheduled for a total knee replacement very quickly. She was very informative and responsive to questions. I have no hesitation in highly recommending her.

She is the best surgeon I have ever met she did my SHEIN tibia surgery very well and often other appointments as well I will recommend her every body if anybody needs them

Recently had ATFL reconstructive surgery, Anna has been amazing her explanations 100% understandable, her bedside manner was beautiful was so pleased to see her check in personally right before theater.
After xare has been great too very supportive, my wound has healed extremely clean and fast.

Our experience with Dr Anna and staff at Bundoora in 2019/20 was without fault. Friendly and caring. My then 11yo son had a broken leg and she took great care of him during and post operation. Healed up as new. No issues since. Would recommend her.

Dr Anna is an angel. She took a close interest in my treatment of hammer toes and bunion. This was a condition left over from a congenital talipes right foot and previous operations. She is a wonderful person who really cares. She's made a great difference to my foot and I now walk without discomfort for the first time in decades. She has healed up now and should be starting back at tennis this week.
On another note I have just recently returned from Mt. Everest base camp.
I was so worried about my knee, after the another surgeon suggested I'd never run again, let alone make it up to Everest BC.
Your subsequent work on my knee and reassurance that I could in fact run has left this 47 year old feeling like he was 20 again.

Can I give less than 1 star? each appointment I had to wait, one was for a coffee run :(

Anna's responses to questions was sarcastic and rude. And when posing questions from other health professionals she questioned their abilities and status, which I have never experienced before between health PROFESSIONALS. Although she technically repaired my ACL I found out she didn't touch other issues I raised and I spent 18 months rehabbing something that was not fixed properly or completely. I also believe the ACL repair to be short which will hamper my mobility long term.

Please if you don't feel something is right or you are not comfortable, get another opinion. I am sure Anna is great for others but for me this was a mistake I now have to regret long term. It has taken me 18 months to write this report because of my own internal anger and stupidity of rushing into this when I was sceptical on visit #1 and her sarcastic responses.

Dr Anna Manolopoulos was a great attentive Orthopaedic Surgeon however visting in her Point Cook Specialist Rooms was terrible. Waiting over 2 hours both times for my appointment, which had to be confirmed by Text or you would lose your appointment. I cancelled my appointment via Text and was charged $80.00 which as I cannot prove that I sent the text they have refused to credit. Anna is worth seeing however I would not attend at Point Cook rooms and I would be careful to keep all communication with the booking staff if you do not want unwarranted bills.

As much as I had posted that Dr Anna had been good, my review was then followed up with a letter from Anna to my place of employment (where I had sent my email of dispute) demanding they take action against me using the electronic mail system for personal use and my doctor, stating that I was threatening. At no time did I threaten I merely stated that I would be writing a review of the terrible handling on social medis. The nastiness and hatred I received from her following this review (as you can read above not at all slandering - only factual account of a flawed process) has been quite damaging to my mental health. Especially as she then sent the bill to a collection agency and has now put a mark on my credit rating. If you are going through a difficult time, struggling with life and pain, I would highly recommend you avoid her entirely, as my experience of unexpected fines, damaging complaints at my place of work, has been very traumatic for me personally.

Really bad booking behavior and really unprofessional treatment to patient. When someone visits a specialist has a serious reason for that, therefore you expect to have a similar interaction. Let people wait for almost an hour without further information or at least re booking their appointment is not a professional way of doing things. Thanks for nothing but waste of time ...

I haven't visited this clinic.
However, I had a referral come from my Dr to a public hospital in sunshine I rang the hospital to see how long their wait list is, and they couldn't give a time frame even...
So anyway I thought ok, I'm going to go private as my shoulder is in so much pain.
I googled orthopedics near me and this came up.
So I ring I explain the situation the receptionist has no patience to hear me out and just thought she knew it all.. And I hate that in a service.....
She then proceeded to go on and speak like i was a peasant with her tone of voice stating
Shoulder operation is like....... $10,000 - $15,000.
I then replied well I need a MRI first to see what's going inside my shoulder as I've had multiple ultrasounds and steroids injected into my shoulder and pain has been horrendous after the injection..
I would not recommend this clinic if you're anything like me where communication and clear clarity is your moto then I would not recommend..
All about the money this!!

I took my husband for a follow up appointment which was advised by the ER
Doctor at Northpark Private Hospital in which my husband injured his ring finger where he was told he had a small hair line fracture and was advised to see a Orthopaedic surgeon. On the 8th of December 2020 was our appointment which was two weeks from the accident. I took my husband and I waited in the car because I was not able to attend because of the covid restrictions as only the patient can go in, I was happy to wait in the car, when I asked him how the appointment went he said she just asked questions on how the accident happened looked at the x-ray that the doctors took at the ER and said it will heel nicely, didn't even bother to have a look at my husbands hand , just to be told no follow up needed . I think that this was not very professional at all could have done this over the phone and saved us $180.Not very happy with the consult, would not recommend and would not see her again and seek some one else.
