Coobowie Caravan Park

Probably our third time staying in a powered site here, school holiday time and still everything was great, nice large well looked after grass site.
Steve Kristy do an excellent job, well done guys.

Great park with spacious grassed sites. Nice and quite even in holidays.Amenities block is spotlessly clean and the grounds well maintained. Close to Innes and a great base for seeing YP. Would recommend.

We had a nice grassed drive through site for our caravan. Nice quiet park staff are friendly and helpful and amenities are very clean.

Stayed here with a friend coz I had some work at the sanctuary.
Such an awesome place. Cool AF ppl run the joint. Easygoing laid back and so many puppies to get cuddles from. Loved it.

In light of the recent bad reviews in the last couple days I’m shocked. We have been coming here regularly for the last couple of years and have always found management to be super friendly and accommodating to our needs. The park is always clean and tidy, top job guys. Sadly there are always those that feel the rules don’t apply to them and when they are dealt with find it super offensive.The managers have the whole park to keep comfortable not just rule breakers. Top job guys keep up the great work.

Flat grassed sites. Very clean amenities and very friendly and helpful managers

This would have to be one of the best caravan parks we've visited since 2016. Extremely well maintained and so clean. It's location might be subjected to wind (the management can't control that) but we've enjoyed 6 days of sunshine and very light winds. The sites are grassed, large, and level. Drive through sites available. Great camp kitchen and fish cleaning facilities. Our friends who stayed in the cabins were very happy too. Good meals from the local pub (very short walk) to boot. Will definitely stay here again. Recommended.

What a fantastic little gem!
If you read the recent negative reviews- you probably wouldn’t book- however it’s clear these reviews are all from one disgruntled group of people!

From the moment we rang to book our Easter stay last year the team of Kristy & Steve could not have been more helpful! After having a previous negative experience at a different park they went out of their way to reassure us & ensure our stay was comfortable! Kristy even posted me brochures of the local area!

Arriving Good Friday we had already paid upfront- the team had provided clear instructions & our site details for us! We had drive through sites which were fantastic! The sites were nice & grassy, we had shade from the many tree’s & power & sullage was close!

Facilities were plenty & always clean! The playground for the kids was ideal! Our daughter spent most of her time there!

Kristy & Steve went out of their way to organise activities every day for the families & children celebrating Easter & always ensured every child got something regardless!

These two managers were often seen wondering the park & mingling with guests- making them super approachable!

While there isn’t much to do in Coobowie- Steve & Kristy have us some fantastic places to visit! We actually enjoyed just relaxing in the park & doing nothing much for once!

Pricing for the drive through sites was extremely, extremely reasonable- and the price increase was well communicated 6 months prior- its fully understandable in the current world situation & it was a difference of only $6 per night! Still at $40/night for a powered, grassed drive through site on the Easter weekend- i call that a bargain!

We will definitely be recommending this park to any of our family or friends that are headed to the Yorke Peninsula!

I have been coming to Coobowie Caravan Park for the last 3 years with my large family. We have experienced every type of accomodation available at the park. We absolutely love the camping facilities, everything is well stocked, maintained and very clean. Cabin accommodation is some of the best we have experience especially in a small park. The management are incredibly helpful and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay and have everything you need while you’re on holidays. A beautiful place to stay and very well managed.

Kristy and Steve run a great caravan park and provide amazing service, would thoroughly recommend stopping through on a road trip.

Great little caravan and camping park with good facilities. Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Toilets and showers always clean as is communal area. Would come back for sure

Small park with a number of semi permanents. Large sites on manicured grass, some drive thru. Check in staff so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Ablution blocks sparkly clean. A hop step jump and a road from the water's edge and close to most attractions. Very reasonably priced. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Highly recommend this caravan park, managers are friendly and welcoming. Facilities are clean and tidy. Don't go by recent reviews from people who were disrespectful to staff, we witnessed it all. Go and see for yourself!
