One of the Yorke Peninsulas most iconic grain jetties. Now unfortunately due to continued vandalism to the structure and buildings the end of the jetty is now of limits to the public.

Large jetty open to recreational fisherman but does close week days 7am until 4pm. Completely closed if ship is in Port.

Interesting place. The contrast between the ocean and the silos was bizarre. Met some nice folk along the jetty and received some great local fishing advice. The conveyor belt building provides good shelter from the wind. It's hard to squid there. You need a heavy squid Jag (min 3.5g) to compete against the wind, otherwise it just floats near the surface. Not sure how I felt about it as a fishing spot though. Felt a bit too industrial for my liking. Saw some decent fish (salmon) caught though!

A tidal grain port. Disappointed it’s now fenced off with no public access.would have been great to get closer.
