The Chocolate House

I was lucky to know the business owner next door to get to know the Chocolate House! It felt like the morning on Christmas day when I walked into the shop. They got so many gift options for many occasions. I haven't done it, but I think this place could be your best bet for some last minute shopping for gifts!

The chai latte with oat milk I had was great. The venue was spacious and comfortable. The people there were nice and friendly. The menu looked exciting. I'll definitely want to go back.

I throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were very nice and accommodating. I found the eggplant focaccia and chocolate and bubblegum ice-cream very delicious. I would consider visiting again!

Great concept where you can buy chocolate and get your coffee/hot chocolate fix at their cafe. They also offer ice cream and other cabinet food. The service is friendly and there is ample seating. My coffee had a honey taste to the chocolate sprinkle and was pretty good. #goodcoffee #goodservice

The staff are so nice, and gladly do off-the-menu items for me. The chocolate is good, too, albeit a little expensive, but it's because it's good quality. But after Easter, they have 1kg bags, of broken Easter eggs/bunnies for $5! Highly recommend the food/coffee/atmosphere, and the chocolate, too, especially after Easter 👌

When you are from out of town; and you stumble across a venue where the owners knows his customers names and orders; you know you are on a winner.
Dean does a great job with people; connecting with them over excellent coffee, smoothies and small bites.
The Chocolate House has an awesome range of chocolates - traditional more delights and for those with special eating needs; be it vegan or other; some great options.

Great service, great quality food, great people - highly recommended.

Nice place to sit down and catch up

I have been coming here for years and the people who run this place are top notch.
Always friendly and inviting, always making excellent coffee and the iced lactose free latte is perfect.
Have been for waffles twice and they're so decadent and filling.
Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Broad selection of coffee, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, ice cream, and of course, chocolates. Service is also super speedy, so unless it's busy you needn't worry about missing the tram.

Staff are very friendly and personable, coffee is amazing with quick service. Being a regular on first name bases and remembering coffee orders, definitely a coffee shop I recommend if in the area! The chocolate is also very tasty.

They serve good coffee and pretty decent almond croissants! Staff are friendly and nice as well. The only downside is everything's about 10-15% overpriced without adding much value in return. For example, a large coffee is priced at $5.5 and a tiny (compared to other places around) almond croissant is about 7 bucks. They probably targetting a particular demographic, most likely boomers.

Everything I said above is true but the owner of the cafe is such a bloke, he has surprised me a couple of times with his kindness. One-time he gave me a free upgrade to large coffee when I realised that I didn't have enough cash on me to pay for it. And today, he went out of his way to make me a coffee when I showed up there 10mins past their closing time. I can't in good conscience give them a less than 5stars rating.

This place is awesome. So much cool stuff at a great price. Staff were really helpful too. Didn't try their coffee but will next time!

Besides having yummy, wallet-friendly chocolate, this place serves up cafe fare, ice cream, and coffee. The staff is always extraordinarily friendly and the atmosphere is warm, casual, and comfortable.

A good place for a coffee with a friend, parent, etc. or a quick lunch. And of course, the wall-to-wall chocolate offerings are worth a look, too.
