Beautiful gelato that is made fresh on-site!!! The owners are so kind and helped me with the perfect combination of flavours for a birthday party. The pistachio is the best I’ve eaten, anywhere in the world. Well done guys 🙏

Clean spaces and super friendly and helpful staff. Servings were $7 for one scoop but said scoop was HUGE, definitely get your bang for your buck. New management clearly doing something right because I felt so looked after. Will be back!

The best gelato in Melbourne, the real deal Italian experience - so lucky to have Lambo the owner with his awesome Gelato lab at BlackRock! We travel there most weeks, highly recommend you give Gelato lab a go, if not for the gelato, go see Lambo as he is just as much part of the experience. ENJOY!!!

Omg. Delicious is an understatement. We had Mango/Vanilla and Chocolate and Lemon Gelato. Next time I’m having the Strawberries and Cream.

Gelato Lab in Black Rock is our family's top pick for amazing ice cream. Having lived in Italy, my mum is a tough critic, but Gelato Lab has won her heart – and ours!
After eagerly waiting for their post-winter break reopening, we now find any excuse to treat ourselves to a scoop of their beautiful gelato.
Our absolute favourites are Pistachio and Tiramisu. Gelato Lab's Pistachio is simply unbeatable.It's not just the flavours that keep us coming back; it's the dedication to quality, use of natural ingredients and their service. Definitely a must try!

I have to say - we had another ice cream place which we loved; but we have now found our new Gelato love! This place rocks and blows every Gelato place I have ever been completely out of the water. The owner is also so nice! What is even better is that it is right near the beach so you can enjoy a walk while you eat your Gelato!

I stopped for a quick ice-cream, little did I know that I have found the absolute best ice-cream in Melbourne.
Service was also incredible, The Italian guy behind the counter is a truly gelato Master who was happy to share some of his craft secrets and made me taste some of his proudest product.

He also had the most incredible Vegan chocolate ice-cream ever!

Amazing gelato! I'm italian and always looking for a gelato that tastes like the one back home. We recently moved to Melbourne and we discovered this gem. Gelato is flavorsome and most of all creamy like a real gelato should be, not frozen like most ice creams you find around. We tried three flavors, vanilla, nutella and chocolate and they were all outstanding. We will be back for sure!

My family and I stumbled across this place while on a fish and chips mission to Black Rock and it was truly exceptional.

The owner Lamberto has done a wonderful job in setting up his gelateria, with an amazing selection of flavours made onsite, using proper gelato equipment plus friendly staff.

This is proper artisan stuff and includes the most important ingredients, passion and love!

I've also travelled through Italy and sampled many a gelato on my travels and this is easily as good if not better.

A real treat for the bayside community, do yourself a favour and try it this summer.

Well we were out for a long walk today and came across Gelato Lab by chance, we were blown away by the Quality of the Gelato I usually measure the quality of a great Gelato by the Pistachio believe me I’ve eaten quite a few in Italy and this is 5 Star plus!!! It was creamy full flavoured and you can actually see and taste the Pistachio, I was very surprised at the more than generous serving will definitely be back for more. I actually spoke to Lamberto lovely guy warm and welcoming just get down there and Experience the Amazing Flavours 🥇🥇🥇🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹😋😋😋😋
