Sea Lake Silo Art

Another great display of art you must see on your drive painted across multiple silos. Stop for a snacknor just to admire the art.

A great space to stop and view the beautiful silo art. A perfect artwork complement to Lake Tyrrell.

So pretty isn't it! The painted silos stretch over two hundred kilometres and these beauties are just on the edge of town as you come over the train line. Nice view of lake Tyrell. Nice town to stop for a rest and feed.

If you have time, the painted field bins at woomelang are about a half hour drive away and there's six spread around the tiny village along with a disused but newly renovated train station and a derelict shearing shed.

Absolutely stunning art work, 10 minutes from Lake Tyrell in the beautiful township of Sea Lake.

A wonderful walk along the train tracks to the Silo Art as part of the Silo Art trail. Beautiful artwork and stunning when the sky is clear around sunset. Unsure whether the trains are running (they weren't when we visited) but you can walk up relatively close to the silos for better photos. A few parking areas nearby, or a short walk from Sea Lake centre.

Worth a visit. Nice large parking area.

The GrainCorp Silos at Sea Lake are part of the 200 kilometre grain silo art trail.
This artwork was painted by Joel Fergie & Travis Vinson in 2019, it shows a young girl swinging from a mallee eucalyptus tree overlooking Lake Tyrrell, a Wedge Tail Eagle and some Emus and the indigenous Boorong people would use the stars to navigate the seasons.

Stunning silo art work, well worth the visit indeed.

Great artwork, each silo works as a painting on its own, but together they are spectacular. There are also several other murals around town. Well worth getting out and taking a walk around. There are also some nice cafes and the pub for food. Nearby Lake Tyrell is a great place for viewing the stars,sunset etc.

If you are going through Sea Lake make sure you stop to look at this beautiful silo art.

Beautiful art and night show was well worth seeing after 9pm

The silo art provides a wonderful opportunity to get out and stretch your legs on a long drive. It is a credit to to town to see the effort and pride taken in these structures. Art like this helps to showcase their town and is a nice draw card.

Whilst there are no rest rooms at the silo; picnic tables, a BBQ area and toilets are only a couple of minutes away in the centre of town and were well maintained and clean.

Amazing art and well worth the trip. One of my favorites on the trail. Very few facilities open in Sealake though between Christmas and New year so come prepared .
