PAL PAL 88 KOREAN HOTPOT

As soon as I saw Korean marinated raw crab on the menu at the newly opened Pal Pal 88, I knew I had to try it! We ordered the soy raw crab and prawn and OMG the meat was so sweet and flavourful! A must try; along with the gamjatang and the chilli cheesy chicken. Will be going back again to try their other marinated raw options!

One of many Korean restaurants in the area. It does gives you a strong Korean vibes when you enter. The environment is abit too dark in my opinion. Don't expect Korean BBQ, but rather everything else. For example raw crab and prawns, kimchi hot pot, fried chicken etc. Of course you have to have soju and Korean beer to go with the food. Overall Pal Pal 88 meets my expectation (for someone who has travel to Korea a few times). On Friday and Saturday they open till 4am too!

Raw crabs are very fresh and delicious. Tried both soy sauce and yangneom - both are great but recommend yangneom for first tries!

It was amazing experience with my friends in PAL PAL 88, awesome food and great service! Highly recommend the Korean style fresh crab, definitely will come back for more food next time :)

It’s a really good place for causal dining to catch up with friends The vibe is friendly and soft. Service and staffs are sweet and polite. Also we had the mussels pot which was light but tasty. The raw crab definitely was the highlight of my dining sorry for the no photo. Will come back often.

it was our second time to visit this new hot pot place. There offers varieties of korean hot pot styles which its taste was very authentic and full of flavour. We also tried the spicy fried chicken the chicken itself was so crispy, and the sauce also yummy. We ll definitely back to try other dishes.

Can’t remember how many times at Pal Pal and they still top my list of Korean restaurant. Hands down the best Korean cuisine in Mel. Pal Pal is your best choice if u are dining here with ur family or a bunch of friends. The raw crab is obviously authentic and very flavourful, also I think it’s unique in Mel. The staff is so friendly and helpful, great environment, amazing food, reasonable price, and 5 star service. They are popular so do make a booking in advance.

New Korean place open. Recently I am vegetarian but I still can get good Korean food here. I ordered potato pancake. Tofu hotpot and ice peach. Very crispy pancake than others. Very clean and light flavour.

Absolutely loved the spicy raw crab! Perfect with a bottle of beer and yes, some fried chicken along with them all! Don’t forget to try the soy raw crab with tiny bit of rice. 😉

The best soy sauce and spicy raw crab in town, been here twice and it never disappoint. Also the spice is on another level.
