The Spanish girl Cris is very kind and helpful.She has a lot of knowledge about the products. I am so pleased for her service, I think she should get a pay rise.If you happed to be in the shop just look for her,you can’t go wrong.

And the other manager (tents department), and the other guy who is really smart about kayaks or pretends to be haha - all, every one of those and others (cos i shop there all the time!) are absolutely beautiful people! Wow. What a store. I couldn’t believe the variety of their products. Bicycles, tennis, ballet, skating, gym equipment and it just keeps going. Their prices seemed great and their sale prices were unbelievable. We spent an hour here and that was just browsing.

What a great sports store- decathlon always has durable high quality products. Myself and kids had been regular patrons of Decathlon Knox for years but took a read trip and ran into Paul (top bloke and always delivers beyond great assistance 😎), now working at Moorabbin store, Purchased kipsta soccer boots (last forever from experience). The outdoor courts, full spectrum of products and cool indoor vibes (try or play while you browse) earn this Moorabin store at definite 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!

Went in there for a look and came out with $102 worth of things I don't need.
Excellent and wide variety of items. Well priced. For cycling items, these are very well priced and cheaper then bike shops.
Shoes and socks are in European sizes.
Staff member Paula in the bike section was friendly and helpful.
Self service check out where you just drop your items in a bucket like thing.

Fantastic sports superstore. The new store layout is much better and the selection is good. But I would like to see items restocked a little faster (I.e. hats).

My two favourite shops Bunnings and decathlon, I shop at decathlon moorabbin since shop opened. one stop for all sports got wide variety of items with reasonable priced. great customer service and friendly policy(12months exchange and return) thank you Terence you led terrific team there!

It’s such a great place for all sport purchases. I went there for buying bikes and the staff Mekah dealt with us. She provided us quality service with useful recommendations on bikes and accessories. She helped us to make my bike fit in my car. I will definitely come here again when I need!

Store is only 2 months old so still has the 'brand new' feel to it. I am familiar with Decathlon stores in Spain; Madrid and Santiago de Compostelas, so it is great to see a similar layout in Australia. Staff were excellent. Definitely cheaper than Kathmandu and Anaconda though the brands may not be familiar. I used Quechua pack and poles, and some clothing items on my last Camino. All good quality and hard wearing. Love to see Decathlon outside Europe.

(2021) Quality, affordable sports gear. Not much "branded" stock, that's why it's affordable you're not paying for an overpriced tag.

(2024) I bought a badminton racquet online at a heavily discounted price because it was discontinued, also with a free shipping promo. When it arrived it was defective. I took it to the Moorabbin store and they were extremely helpful with a complex transaction. I highly recommend them for customer service, in particular a European gentleman (manager?).

Excellent services for advices and support from Kai.

I came in the shop 30mins before the shop was about to close. I wanna buy some water proof pants and jacket but have no clue where to find them and how to choose the right item. Kai approach to me and offered his help.

Kai listened to my situation and patiently give me some advices and guidance base on my needs. He wasn't just want to sell me stuff, but match the suitability of my purpose of use and price range.

I write a review because Kai presented an excellent customer service and performed an outstanding sales support to help me getting what suitable to my need!
