Walk the Wok

It is definitely the place to go if you want genuine Cantonese cuisine. The price is amazingly reasonable with such high quality yummy dishes. To my surprise, no MSG was found in their cooking which could only be achieved with absolutely fresh food. It takes me an hour to be up there but I became a regular customer because they never disappoint me ; Not a single time .
This is a restaurant NOT to be missed out .

All of the food we ate was very delicious, with a variety of choices on the menu. Also, the tea—genmaicha with a warm and nutty flavor—is really delightful. I would highly recommend this great place to my friends and family, where they can enjoy the yummy Cantonese dishes and gather happily. I loved the flamed ice cream so much as well! It was so good and entertaining.

Walk the Wok is one of the places providing good quality Cantonese food. We went there last Saturday, ordered a special menu, see pictures. Eight Treasure Duck is one of my favorite dishes, it is so delicious😋 The quality is always high no matter what you order, and you are for sure getting good services whenever you come.

A lovely place to dine in. It’s the second time i went there. Food is as good as last time with an increase in portion. The efficiency of service has improved a lot. Knowing that lunch is opened recently on Thur, Fri and Sun, I will definitely try it if I am around Eltham. Glad the beeping is gone :)

All in all, it was amazing. Staff is very friendly , and the food is delicious. Highly recommend it, and we will be going again .

We tried Walk the Wok for the first time. As a coeliac I am always a little reluctant but I got the right answers to my questions and understand it’s a shared kitchen space. Well the meal was excellent and the choices were many. We ordered both mains and entre to share on the table. My favourite has to be the crispy chicken, tender and juicy. We will definitely be back.

Great restaurant, service was fast, staff were friendly. Easy parking, however we did eat early5:30pm.
Food fresh and tasty, we will definitely be regulars.
The bathroom facilities were spotless as was the restaurant.

Delicious food perfect size for sharing, and the service was fantastic with very friendly staff. My only suggestion would be adding some candles to the tables or dimming the lights to create a more enjoyable atmosphere. Other than that will definitely be going back :)

Last time was with big group and not happy when we were told no BYO. Then we found out the extensive wine list and cheap, few brands are even cheaper than cellar shop. The menu is reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. We were all happy, delicious food & friendly staff.

This is my second time to the restaurant. The restaurant is clean, simple deco but very well presented and classy. I was curious about the paintings on the wall and was told that they are actually acoustic panels which absorbs the echo.
We dined again with my mum who is 90+, and I really appreciate the caring & patience of the restaurant manager who explaining about the gluten free options. And then realised that most ingredients used are actually gluten free, and gluten free option available are broad. Will certainly recommend and we will be regular.

Yummy yummy, the number one Chinese restaurant around Templestowe/Eltham. The service is outstanding and the variety of food is so fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend to my friends and relatives as you will not find another Chinese restaurant in Melbourne like Walk the Wok.

The food is Delicious with a capital D! A group of us came and shared many different dishes - they were all so yummy it was hard to pick our favourite. The service is amazing and well priced - the best Chinese food ever! We can't wait to come back!

Delicious food, great service - kept being offered more to ensure we were satisfied and took the time to explain the menu. Keep in mind a new business with new staff and systems, they did very well to make sure a great customer experience.

Stumbled upon this nice neighbourhood restaurant serving Chinese food. the wagyu black pepper beef and ice cream on fire was delicious! Awesome service too!

Quality of food is good and delicious. Environmental and interior design is comfort and clean. Great service. Understood that most staffs seems new, but very attentive and polite. Highly recommend and definitely will visit again.
