oat curry – Goat soft & had a pleasant strong taste. Gravy spicy & very good.

Chicken curry – Yummy chicken & gravy.
Potato & paneer dumplings – Really good & quite spicy.

Chickpea curry – Very good & chickpeas just the right texture.
Cauli, potato & pea masala – Tasty but would skip next time for more Chickpea curry or Dumplings.

Paneer curry – Tasty soft cheese & accompanying onion & capsicum sauce.
Flavoured rice – Inc. spices, paneer & onion. Very good.

Best Indian I have had in Melbourne. The chicken saag was soooo flavoursome, as was the aloo Gobi. Both curries were mild. The samosas was medium to hot. Garlic roti was super tasy. The lady serving was lovely and very funny. Can't wait to come back and try more!

A friendly home run business. They always take the effort to make something customised for me for a small yet fulfilling meal during lunch whenever I’m in a hurry. Taste is great.

Lovely food, friendly service and excellent value. I've eaten here numerous times and the food is great. My last order was delivered (thanks, pandemic!) And reminded me why I rate this place so highly. The samosas are in my opinion the best in the West, and possibly in Melbourne. The veg biryani is fantastic, and the Gobi Manchurian rocks. There aren't many places where you feel you're getting real, home-cooked Indian that rivals the best you can get when visiting India, but Punjab Sweets is one of those rare restaurants.

Me and my Australian freind and Gujarati Indian freind went there for lunch once, and the food was so delicious, good price in total for us all, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Fish Curry, Soffren Rice and Narn Breads were so delicious they bersted with flavour. Good customer service aswell.😋🇮🇳🍽

Amazing food. We were recommended this restaurant from some friends and the food was amazing. There was a slight mix-up with our order and how the restaurant delt with this was perfect mistakes happen. They delivered our missing dish to us before we had even finished the others. What do you expect in $10 at restaurants? 2 Coffees? a pint of beer? Small chips with cheese? A proper lunch/dinner with three different curries, naan and rice that they provide for $10. I know Asian people have the habit of making bad comments about their nationality. They want 5-star hospitality in $10. For those Seven eleven would be better.
I lgenuinely loved this place. The food taste was meticulous. Tiny and tidy. The indian classic music in the background gives a very good vibes of the home country.

Sweets are delicious.. I also love their samozas and pancake, they are really freshly made. Masala tea and mango drink with rose syrup are beautiful. I would really recommend this to friends to try. Good location near Footscray Train Station. 👍😋👍

Best aloo gobi I’ve had in a long time! Also enjoyed the egg plant masala. Tried the milk cake in milk dessert (there is a traditional name for this dessert but it eludes me) and it was delicious—first punjab style sweet I’ve ever had.
