D&K Asian Grocery

Just realised there's a grocery in Footscray selling good variety of Japanese and Korean food. They also have a some selection of other Asian food /ingredients.

The place is slightly small but they have most of the essential.
Price is quite reasonable and the place is clean and bright.

BTW be careful where you park. As some area are permit only.

I live in Geelong and drive all the way to Footscray every second weekend specifically to visit d&k and stock up on all my favourite Japanese snacks!!!! Awesome range of vegan and gluten free noodles and condiments. Every one working in the store is so friendly and really knowledgeable about the products, I've cooked many delicious meals at home thanks to their advice and recommendations.

Only found out about this place today and it’s my new Japanese/Korean grocery store now! Such a wonderful selection with ranges of products directly from Japan and Korea, and the store is so clean, it reminds me of city grocery stores except closer and better range!

Great place to buy hard to find Japanese and Korean groceries at a reasonable price. They also have a great selection of products from local businesses.

Although I knew about D&K in Footscray, I thought it was like most of the other Asian groceries around Footscray, mostly Chinese and Vietnamese with some token Japanese and Korean items as an after thought. It was my first time today after listening to a podcast about instant noodles 🍜.
It's a great store which carries a great range of frozen and dry Japanese, and Korean foods. Normally I would take a trip into the CBD and shop at another store with a large Japanese range. Thank goodness I've found my new one stop shop to get my Japanese fix. I don't have to travel so far to get my natto, matcha or miso fix. Great store, great range of noodles, decent prices which I'd dare to say were lower and more competitive than some other stores, and with friendly service thrown in.

D&K have quickly become one of my favourite grocers in the West. I was beyond excited when I discovered they stock Ichiran instant ramen, and every time I pop in and try something new, I’m never disappointed. Great range without being overwhelming, and staff are super friendly! Whenever I’m missing Japan, I come here and leave so happy.

Reminds you of a Japanese convenience store! Excellent selection of mostlyJapanese foods, fairly reasonably priced. Korean stuff too. You will find some Japanese stuff here that you won't find in other Asian marts. Store is very clean and most things labelled with the price unlike some Asian marts where you have no idea what something might cost. Worth following their IG as they do updates on new/featured products.

What was missing in Footscray before D&K opened were Korean and Japanese groceries (the sauces!!). We used to make the trip into the CBD to get them. Excited to walk pass the shop few weeks ago. Ended up inside and restocked my weekly dose of Asian snacks. Great selection of pantry items and snacks. Friendly owners. Highly recommended.

The grocery store I've always wished for. High quality Japanese products. And some Korean favourites here too. Great range of gluten free and vegan options too.

Awesome Japanese grocer with very knowledgeable and passionate staff. Came in for ramen but walked out with everything I needed to do delicious yakitori at home. I highly recommend trying their Kikkoman Rice Seasoning and the Hakata Spice Mix.

Just discovered this small grocery store in Footscray that stocks a good selection of Japanese import food items. Very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

The only place in the west which is a legit Japan/korean grocery. Can tell the owners are very passionate and care about what they stock. Now I no longer need to travel into the city for Kimchi!

Great range of Japanese groceries hard to find else where. My only complaint is I always buy more than I plan to because I see too many things I like 😂
