Amazing value and great quality food. Loved that the curries were not oily like the cheap fast food types. The biryani was beautifully fragrant. Portions were hearty too, the two of us could not finish two mains. It was a bit sad to see an empty restaurant at 7pm when we walked in, and there was also not a lot of curries available to select from. Hope the quietness was due to it being a weeknight as this restaurant deserves more love and local support!

I have become a regular at Melbourne Mirchi . One of the best Indian cuisine that I’ve come across in years.
The owners are genuine people and what a privilege it is to support such a place where the food is exceptional quality and the service is excellent.
The service staff know perfectly well and pay attention to minute details. The staff knew that I always have tea after my food and I was impressed with the fact that they knew what I had had previously for my meal .

I live around the corner and recently discovered Melbourne Mirchi, ive ordered from there twice and have been very happy. Their curries are tasty and not oily at all. Other places Ive had Indian food and there is 2 cm of oil sitting above the curry.
The gravy was thick and the meat was tender, not hard or chewy.
I have found my new favourite local Indian restaurant!

Really delicious curries and fresh naan. The service is really friendly and have a clear passion for their cooking. A great lunchtime venue. $12.99 for 3 curries rice and naan! Great value.

Have been here twice now and it is some of the best Indian food I have ever had. The Vindaloo is particularly good! Highly recommended!

We were here for dinner last night based on the review on Google. The food and service did not disappoint! It is genuinely delicious food at the most reasonable price. We ordered a Chicken 65 and chicken dum biriyani and the portions were so good that I took half of mine home. Tastes very authentic hyderabadi with a good about of gravy as well. They also gave us one side each from the thaali as well which were both good too. For 13 $, I don't think you would get a better biriyani in Melbourne!

We were exploring around Footscray and wanted to have a quick bite. I hoped in to the restaurant and luckily the chef was at the counter. Had a nice chat with him and requested him to make chopsy even though this item wasn’t in the menu. He politely accepted and made the chopsy for us. I didn’t expect this to be so good. It was incredible. Thank you chef 👨‍🍳

I can say it's a hidden gem in this area. I’ve been to many similar restaurants, but this one truly stands out. The food is absolutely delicious. The dishes we tried were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Chicken Dum Biryani, Chole Batura and Samosa Chaat.

Absolutely amazaing.... Ordered Thali takeaway and even before eating I got idea that I am going to leave a review. Best thali I have ever seen and taste. Good quantity and great taste. I am amazed the cauliflower that chef cooked it exactly how we cook it in Punjab at home. Even in India most of the people don't know how to cook perfect cauliflower. Well done.
