Melbourne Pathology Elwood

I have had regular blood tests done here over the past 18 months and have found the staff prompt, courteous, professional and efficient. Any wait times are due to patients ahead in the queue, or a patient having more involved testing.

Time for an updated review as at October 2021. I regularly need to visit Melbourne Pathology in Elwood for blood tests and have never, EVER had a bad experience. Every single one of the lady technicians I have interacted with have always been very professional, very efficient and very friendly. I can thoroughly recommend this team.

Honestly had the best experience here,
I was feeling really sick and light headed after my test and the nurse was so kind, patient and attentive - didn’t rush me at all and made sure I felt comfortable. So grateful !!!!

Lovely Lady who took my blood on Tuesday 19/09/17

No point using the booking system (which is advertised with signs at the clinic). You just get told to take a number and wait anyway. Left after 20 mins. What is the point having a booking system if it just gets ignored?

Quite possibly the rudest person I have ever come across in healthcare. Business hours state this clinic is open until 12pm. I arrived at 11.45am as she was trying to leave. She begrudgingly took my blood and when another patient arrived at 12.50pm she said out loud “you have got to be kidding me!” Because she didn’t want to work until her rostered shift ended. As a registered nurse myself, I would never speak to my patients the way she speaks to her patients. Be better.

The stylish lady was unprofessional how to draw blood , rude attitude and physically abused me. She can not find patients files in the computer system and she calls them, suspicious!
Horrendous experience even I reported her to the central the person asked ME to visit another pathology services next time.

Extremely slow… waited 20 minutes and not one of the 6 people in front of me were even seen. I would not recommend visiting this pathology clinic again.

Long wait time, The Nurse took around a hour per person. I had been in other center and wasn’t like that.
Super disappointed.

The woman who I dealt with was was not only rude to me, but blatantly rude to the customer before me in front of the waiting room. Not a comforting experience to have someone take your blood who is obviously frustrated.
