Hot Bargain Discount Variety Store

Bought a few things from here over the years. Service and prices are nice. Its kept tidy and well organised also.

Was just in here with my friend and her 7 year old child looking at beach stuff as we are going on a holiday in a couple of days. Shop owner abused us and chased us out of the shop for looking for too long.. almost pushed the 7 year old out the door then started screaming when I told him to have some respect. Will never shop here again and will be spreading word of mouth so my friends and family stay far away.

I had a really awful experience at Hot Bargain. I was looking at a mug and suddenly had someone storm up to me shouting and then I worked out it was the owner who was upset I had taken the mug out of the box so I could get a better look the the design. It has little pictures on it and there was a viewing window but I just wanted to see if the pattern was repeated and there was no pic of it on the box. I was ready to buy a few items and would of added this.

The guy lost his mind and me, completely out of nowhere I saw him storm around the corner near the front door. After i explained i was just trying to look he seemed to understand a little and showed me and i said i will put it away and he said shouted he would do it. He was really sitting at 100rpm and blowing steam

I was planning on buying a few things and I then calmly said I won't buy anything if your going to be rude and he flipped!!! I asked him if he was ok and he said that I'm not ok coz I'm walking with a stick!! Im currently on crutches after I got hit by a car. He said I thought I was some VIP and he doesnt care if i dont buy anything, next minute i see his wife hit him upside the head. I have honestly never experienced anything like it.

Anyways, it's just a warning. This guy is unhinged and clearly not afraid to be abelist and chase you out the store. I have since heard many others with the same tale.

I certainly won't be going there again. Iv only been in the areas since December and so far have only had great experiences with neighbour's, locals and shops, everyone!

Worst 2 dollar shop, dodgy sales and not enough space to walk around. Upsales everything.

Selling Kmart branded stuff for twice the price, super dodgy

The owner is very rude and wants rto fight with you if you don’t buy anything from him.
