The Strand Cafe Restaurant

My sister and I always come here. The service has to be hands down the best we’ve ever experienced. The food is always top notch and delicious every time. Everyone at the strand is so friendly and welcoming… we always leave with a smile on our face.

Such a lovely greeting from Bipal after walking from the beach. Service was prompt and the food came out quickly to feed my hungry children. According to my kids - the best flavour on the chips and nuggets! Allowed me the time to enjoy my food. Will be back through the summer for sure.

We went for dinner whilst in Adelaide, Glenelg for a holiday. The service was super quick and the food was just fantastic. The whole family loved it including my 11 year old daughter.

Beautiful salmon, crispy skin. The cauliflower puree is the best part of the dish! Its tangy and compliments the salmon so well! I usually have a little salt and pepper with my salmon but there was no need! The chilli aioli made an amazing dip for the potatoes and beans.

Come here time and time again and it never disappoints. Consistently tasty food, friendly service and competitive prices for the area. A happy returning customer ☺ the Pappardelle Zucca is a must try, it’s incredible!

Great food, great place, wonderful atmosphere. Menu has a wide range of diversity for food selection and can’t forget about their 50% off cocktails for their happy hour between 4-6pm. Servers are really nice and attentive as well 😊

We celebrated ♥‘s Day here. Came in so hungry but left so full and satisfied! The food was so good. We ordered arancini, saganaki, steak, and lamb shanks paired with house shiraz. Me and my partner definitely enjoyed our time here. Perfect food and friendly service! Highly recommend.

Thank you for making our dinner special and unforgettable. We were a big group with a lot of special requests. Service and willingness of the staff was beyond expectations, super kind and very caring. All the food was delicious and every one of us was pleased with every bite we had.

Really friendly pizza person and generous portions. Interesting menu and drinks list. Reasonably priced. An somewhat old school Italian style Australian restaurant. Unpretentious and filling.

We showed up for breakfast at 11:26am expecting to be turned away as the breakfast service finishes at 11:30am. We were pleasantly surprised when the waiter looked at his watch and declared it was still breakfast time! We both had the large breakfast which consisted of sourdough tost, eggs to your liking, sausage, plenty of bacon, hash brown, mushrooms and grilled tomato. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous enough that we had to leave a little on the plate. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was neat and tidy. There was a lot of customers arriving around 12:00 for lunch so clearly very popular.

I'm a regular customer who always order the burger because I loved it, but my last visit was disappointing cause the bun was smaller than what they usually serve. The service was good and the staff are very nice, but the food is inconsistent and I can tell because I always come to dine every now and then but because of what happened I might not come again, so disappointing.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. I had Smashed Avo bagel and it was delicious! Really lovely staff!! I will be back

Was absolutely not expecting the massive steak sandwich I got, and was also not expecting it to be as good as it was with very generous filling of steak. Coffee was great, but that's the standard at most places. Very good and cordial service as well.

Our visit to SA ended with dinner at The Strand. The food was delicious and the wait staff are extremely friendly. Only disappointed that we didn’t find this gem earlier on our holiday. Highly recommend having a meal here!
