Blue Dog Café.

I came here in the middle of winter with a mate and my daughter. We had a couple of big brekkies and caught up. Coffee was pretty good: not too bitter or burnt, full bodied. Park Orchards is pretty quiet in general and Blue Dog was no exception. You could come here, spend a couple hours whiling away, lost in your own thoughts or focused on your laptop and no one would bother you. For that, I recommend it.

I recently moved to Park Orchards and was so excited to find a friendly and delicious local cafe! To make things even better, Friday nights are pizza night and they even have vegan cheese!! This vegan pizza lover is in heaven :) I cannot recommend this cafe and the wonderful team behind it enough! 😎👌🏼🍕

A couple of vegetarian options that were yum. Service was friendly and the coffee was perfect

Visited again, and ordered the same thing. I don't want to exaggerate, but I feel that these are the best chilli scrambled eggs available on the planet.
Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.

I told the chef it was the best breakfast I had ever been served in my life.
I meant it.
I was on holidays from Canberra and I went to the cafe and had the chilli scrambled eggs with a side of mushrooms.
Do yourself a favour. Go there and try it for yourself.

A great place for a home style meal. Our food came fast and it was really good. The salt and pepper squid was a real hit. Perfectly cooked. Crispy deliciousness. Excellent service with a smile. This local find has become my new favourite.

Went to the Blue Dog once and it was so appalling I swore I would never go again. All that has changed with the new management/owner.

What a difference! No more greasy tables and filthy floors. The food has vastly improved with a much better choice of everything and all of it was fresh and tasty. The salt and pepper squid and the warm lamb salad got special mention. Our large group tried a good chunk of the lunch menu and no one was disappointed.

I rarely give a five star review, but it is so much improved that it deserves it! If you were put off by the old Blue Dog, give it a try again. It is open 7 days a week and I have heard from friends that the breakfast is outstanding. We will be back!

Friendly, unpretentious place for a coffee and a mini chilli roll.

Have been twice since The Blue Dog changed hands.
The venue is a lot quieter now, with acoustic panelling on the ceiling that greatly reduces the echo, making it much easier to have a conversation inside. Lighting is a bit more subtle, so the bright filaments of previous lights are gone, which to me is a good thing.

Loved the old venue. The new one looks to cater more for a family and elderly clientele.

So far, only had the schnitzel burger, which, though simple was close to perfection. Generous, without being over the top, and very tasty.

Will be interested to see if the menu grows or changes over time.

Wish the new owners all the best for the next phase of The Blue Dog.

Have been a few times and went with family for my birthday. Absolutely loved the southern chicken burger with creamy slaw and maple bacon. Pizzas were great and catered to different tastes, vego and keto. Owner Rachael was delightful and the added touch of a candle in my brownie 'cake' topped the night off.

Friendly staff, great food (especially the burgers and pizza!) and a family friendly atmosphere. There is a large food and drinks variety here, whether you want something sweet or savoury, the blue dog will have something for you.

came here this afternoon with my dog for lunch , ordered the orange juice, schnitzel burger with chips, bee's or wasp's came around trying to invade my lunch , unsure if she was the boss or just an employee anyway she was kind enough to let me bring my dog inside with me so i can finish my lunch , not many people are like that with animals i will defiantly be coming back food and service was amazing. great job guys ! one happy dog and one happy customer :) x

Staff are so lovely, food and coffee delicious, and really fast service! We ordered off the menu and it was made to order in 5 mins
