Very interesting walking track with 21 stops, giving an insight into life on the goldfields.

A fantastic old gold mine tour to take awaits you. Listen to the podcast while you take a gentle walk to discover the mine back in it's working days.
The walk is very easy with quality footwear. Might experience a few slippery conditions in the wet, although still very walkable.

Great hiking experience. Nothing to strenuous, but beware alot of loose rocks and uneven ground if you leave the track.

A fascinating overview of the Gold rush - entirely uncommercialised. A lovely walk in the quiet bush past so many historical spots. A great way to spend a couple of hours. Nice walk in the bush, following the footsteps of miners from the 1850s. Relics of constructions, shafts and wells are still present on site. You can still see the veins of gold on quartz stones. There is a beautiful guided tour that you can download. Just type janwositzky.com.au and enjoy. Time of the walk is about an hour. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat. You can also have a picnic on site.

Quiet and scenic area with an interesting series of historical ruins. The trail is numbered, so if you take a photo of the sign at the entrance you can refer to it as you walk and understand what you are seeing. You can also take your dog on a leash, which is great.

Great place to visit to experience part of gold fossicking history. More written information on the brochure explaining the sites to stop along the way would be great.
