Great place for a quality breakfast and coffee. Good view of the lake across the road from the outside and front tables. Fast service from the friendly staff.

We have had 2 excellent experiences at Lena's. We love their 🐠 n chips & their great service. We needed access for a walker which is available.

The food and service at Lena's is excellent. My Mum, my Dog and I dined on the walkway for lunch today; we ordered the roast chicken and gravy roll with chips to share, the scones with jam and cream for dessert with a hot chocolate and cappuccino. While our dog didnt want any chicken, he was all about having some of the fresh cream from the scones! All hot and delicious, we loved our visit here and highly recommend Lena's for a meal 😁

This is my fave cafe in Warner’s Bay for smooth, well roasted coffee. The staff are always delightful and usually have a tasty dairy free treat in the well stocked cakes display.

Sitting outside is lovely, watching the lake and people waking by.

I see lots of guests bring a little dog too and they have a bowl of water too.

Wandering around Warners Bay esplanade looking for somewhere to have lunch. There are at least half a dozen or so places all within 200m of each other. All with good reviews, all fairly busy, each with their own particular demographic of customer. So which one to choose? Settled on Lena’s because the place was full of old age pensioners. No one there was under 50 except for one or two of the staff. One thing I have learned in my short life is that pensioners are the best judges of places to eat. The menu was large but not excessive, ranging from basic “old people” roasts, standard cafe burgers and melts, to more exotic prawn and seafood dishes. Coffee was excellent, meals were generous, very tasty and well presented with a chip rating of 8.5/10, service was prompt, friendly but not overbearing, bathroom was way out the back but very clean, prices were well matched to people on a pension (ie less than the crazy stupid prices many are charging these days), and you get a view of the lake if you eat out the front. Have found a new favourite. Will be back.

Definitely the best in this area. There are a number of very nice cafes in Warners bay and as a semi local I've tried them all a few times but 2 things help to make this one stand out .
-the shear variety of food on their never ending menu (and some amazing specials)
- the fact that each and every time I come I'm made to feel so welcome by such happy, friendly and professional staff.

Prices are also extremely good. The options are there for budget conscious meals/snacks and light meals through to large ornate main meals.

Fantastic view of the bay and choice of inside or outside seating. It can be busy so a great idea to reserve a table if you know youre heading that way.

Firndly staff and just the perfect location facing the magnificent water of Lake Macquarie.
The portion of the breakfast omlette was great and it was tasty. They have a gluten free options and vegan breakfast as well.

Outstanding customer service from Emily and Tez. Excellent food that came out very quickly - you haven’t had pancakes until you’ve had them at Lena’s. 10/10, would recommend to everyone! We will be back.

In my long, and often arduous, wheelchairbound journey I have visited many restaurants, cafes, takeaways, bistros and other various food venues, and not have I ever recieved such great service as I did today. The staff at Lena's went above and beyond to ensure access was available, seating area was adequate and on top of such great service our meals were faultless! The menu is extensive, varied and has many dietry options available, this little Cafe in the middle of a busy street shines and eclipses all other options I've experienced in the lake macquarie area

Good food, heaps to choose from. King prawns, brushetta on avo sour dough. Yum. Lovely place near the Lake.

Absolutely fabulous...The very best prawn trio and a crisp fresh salad with tasty dressing. I had wanted to visit 6 months ago and was not disappointed today. Wait staff were very polite and friendly and to my surprise the food was served exceptionally quickly. A nice atmosphere and perfect lunch. Thank you Lena's, I will visit again. xx Naomi

Have been coming here on and off for years and the food is just as good as ever. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly. Lovely to see a family business still thriving.

Here is a quite nice place located in a very friendly neighborhood. The cappuccino was very tasteful. We quite enjoyed the sunset here.

Beautiful location across from the waterfront. Staff were friendly and attentive and coffee & sticky date pudding were delicious. My 8yo son enjoyed his iced chocolate and our waitress was wonderful with him. Will visit again.

Top marks, mature wait staff, food was spot on. The food came out hot and on a hot plate, I went next door the week before and the place looked flash but the food was cold the coffee was horrible and they messed up my order. Take my hat off to the owner and staff at Lina’s, I am working down here for the next 3 months and I will be making a point of having breakfast each and every Sunday morning at Lina’s. 10 out of ten guys! Oh and the coffee was fantastic as well! And the home made in house deserts and cakes are to die for, Dan and Vanessa!
