Book and bean

Went out today to get some stuff for Valentine's Day and came here after, as I hadn't had breakfast yet. I had the Apple pie with ice cream and a latte, all for 12.90 (a bargain in this economy). Both the Apple pie and the coffee were delicious and just what I needed. Also in store was a selection of books to read, although I suspect the only way I'd be able to make a dent in them is if I was here for hours at a time, which honestly doesn't sound too bad.

My friend & I visited today and we absolutely loved the young guy who served us.. he was very young but so polite and had a lovely smile! The food was also great - I had the Hawaiian spud and my friend had the chicken avo sandwich. We’re both book nerds so this was definitely the place for us ☺

Absolutely loved this cafe! My friend and I sat at a table that was tucked away, across from the book corner and it was such a nice vibe there. It was cool to see a couple of people come & go, exchanging books. The food was delicious! Good coffee too. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be going here again.

Lovely little cafe inside a shopping centre. They have lovely friendly staff with a great selection of breakfast meals, gourmet sandwiches and hot jacket potatoes. The coffee was very good with very generous size cups. They had a lovely area where you can sit and quietly read a book as you drink your coffee with a fantastic collection of adult and children's books.

Chic place in the shopping complex. Love having a coffee and chat in the green lounge chair. Good selection of books- many of my favourites on the shelf.

One of the best coffees I have had in Adelaide's west. Tucked away off the windy beach in the Fooland mall, it is a haven of sweet treats and lovely service.

A great little spot to enjoy the freshly made food and a book to read. The staff there are friendly and always willing to cater to your needs. The coffee there is the best in the square! The quiche, Moroccan chicken baguette (which they marinate themselves) and the pies are all great! Would always come back for lunch. Keep up the good work.

One of the few places still open at 4pm, found myself a nice cosy corner in this quiet coffee shop and thoroughly enjoyed the great service. She introduced me to the BEST EVER lemon melting moment which goes so perfectly with the coffee. gotta taste it to believe it!

Visited Adelaide recently, re-joining the civilised world (ex Melbourne currently residing in Brisbane). Stayed at Fulham Gardens and found the Book & Bean Café Henley Beach. Very friendly staff, able to borrow some books while there, great food and coffee. Definite re- visit next time I am in Adelaide. Recommended.

Even when they are so busy on a Saturday, they always have friendly service and my coffee was incredible!

Had a freshly made toasted Chicken, Avo, Lettuce, Mayo Sandwich was delicious, Nice Coffee

The bread is fresh as with the rest of the ingredients and they dont skimp on how much they put on so it fills you up.

Worth the price and I'm glad I tried something different it's a good place.
