Driftwood Cottages

We loved our stay here and would definitely like to come back again in future. Absolutely beautiful view and the under floor heating was a bonus coming up to winter. It was a lovely room with lots of nice touches, they’ve thought of everything!

Just a perfect spot, stunning water front views. Bed is so comfy, that’s a plus. Little extras make all the difference. Alex is a great host! Highly recommend Driftwood Cottages for a getaway anytime.

Great place to stay for anyone finishing the Tasmania Trail. Bike friendly. Stunning view of the lake. Room had everything needed and the hosts were very approachable and went above to make me feel welcome - thank you!

Perfection! Our overnight stop on the way back from Hastings Caves. Warm welcome only outdone by the warm room with heated flooring, neat & tidy, amazing views & bed as comfortable as ur own bed at home. Well equipped with all ur needs in the kitchen. Alex & Nadine have gone above and beyond to add all the little touches to make u feel cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back soon!

Highly recommend you stay a couple of nights. Very friendly staff. The views are amazing. The rooms are very clean and plenty of room with a deck to look out to the water.

The waterfront studio cottage had amazing views of the bay. We had a warm welcome on arrival and the cottage is so nice and warmly set up - clean, warm, and has all the nice touches that really make a difference- a fully equipped kitchen with all the little extra things like glad wrap and foil, body wash and shampoo, comfy bed, coffee machine and pods and a well-equipped guest laundry. Definitely recommended.

What a wonderful treat, had Xmas at Kermandie hotel and stayed for a wonderful 2 days at Driftwood cottages. What a view to wake up to ,with coffee on the balcony and looking over the bay, a special place, everything you need.

Self contained room with a view, worth paying for. Included a decent kitchenette, we went to the local supermarket and used the kitchen here and it was great. The views were beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. One of the better places we stayed. Close to lots of things to see and do.

Delightful location overlooking the water. Everything provided and very comfortable. Would definitely go back. Very welcoming hosts

We had a lovely stay in our Little Cottage overlooking the Bay.Rachell was so helpful and the Cottage was lovely and clean and had everything in it to make our stay completely relaxing. We hope to stay again one day in the near future. Thank you kindly for making our stay so welcoming Driftwood Cottages.

Great little houses by the bay. I definitely recommend the hot tub. Also, Driftwood cottages comes with a full kitchen, so come prepared with some groceries. Note that the local supermarket close before 8pm.

Great spot for a short break to unwind

We stayed in a fully furnished Blackwood cabin. From the roofs of the houses, there's a beautiful view of the sea. In the kitchen, there were various appliances, including an espresso maker. The complimentary Wi-Fi was quite fast. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay that provided an ideal base for exploring Tasmania's Far South. The hosts, Alex and Nadine, are fantastic.

Very romantic hot tub with an amazing views, fireplace, and well laid out beach house. Was my second time visiting and can't wait to visit again!

Great view loved the outdoor spa even in winter. Quieter spot than we expected but the accommodation was great

Fantastic views. We were in the Sassafras unit which is right at the front. Had good appliances and very clean.

Clean room, everything was perfect, host was helpful, view was picturesque, great accomodation for couples.
