Had a nice mid week date with the missus and bubs here. Food was delicious, well-presented and reasonably priced. Service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Would definitely come here again

Amazing weekend spent at the estate.. food was exquisite, location was picturesque, room was luxurious and wines were devine. Rita the owner cooked a delicious breakfast both mornings and was so lovely. We had the most wonderful indulgent time enjoying all the estate has to offer!

Has to be 5 stars for tokar. However, we were looking forward to the feed me menu. Because 1 member of our party was vegetarian, that option was not available. So a little bit a flexibility required. Otherwise, an excellent experience.

Totally recommend this place. Food was amazing and service was great. love the cheese board and grilled steak. The sourdough bread was the best! we even asked for more which they happily gave us.

Had a birthday function with about 23 people and I couldn’t be more impressed with the food, the service and the location itself. The ambiance both inside the restaurant and outside in the grounds is wonderful. The food and wine selection was excellent and we all left very satisfied. Also, complements to the staff who were extremely attentive but never intrusive. We had a lovely day!

On a miserable day in the Yarra Valley, the lovely staff at Tokar warmed us up with their attentive service and delicious food. I can only imagine how beautiful the valley looks on a warm sunny day. They were able to accommodate us a bit earlier than our booking too which was much appreciated. Thanks Danny!

A great wine a chocolate pairing flight at Tokar today. Their selection from Rose to the Cab Sav paired with Cuvée chocolate from white to dark was a definite match. Our hostess was lovely and made the experience more enjoyable, and for the photo of my wife and I, where I lol like a stunned mullet lol.

We didn’t stay for lunch so cannot comment on their food but the wine was excellent.

Visited the cellar door at Tokar Estate, the staff was friendly and kind and the views, wines, and cheeses were amazing!

Had a stunning 2 course lunch @$75ph plus sides about $9. There was an option for a Feed Me menu @$90 which sounded incredible too. Our entrees were outstanding. I’ve been dreaming about the caramelised onion tart and my kingfish dish. Definitely some of the best food we’ve had in the Yarra Valley. The building looks a little dated and they probably should have got some interior design advice for what I assume are new additions- the sheer curtains, chairs, napkins are all the same eggplant colour. It needs some grey, white or black to break it up and maybe some foliage. There was a big group outside on a lawn area enjoying the gorgeous view across Coldstream and Tokar wines. They were on a wine tour and came in for a late lunch. Staff were outstanding and please give our compliments to the chef. We will be back with friends and family, and will put it in our guest recommend list for Badger House.

By far one of the nicest wineries in the region.
Sat outside today for an early mothers day lunch. The weather was glorious and the view was exceptional.
The resturant is intimate which is rare for the valley, but is what makes this place a gem.
The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable, very professional.
We had the two course menu, which was very reasonably priced at $65 including a drink. We included some sides and some coffees and overall was very reasonable.
The food was generous and tasty. A very accessible menu with fresh produce.

We had a beautiful lunch here for our wedding anniversary. Stunning day looking out over the vineyards & Yarra valley. The waiter was super friendly and made some good recommendations. They even brought us a cute little dessert at the end to celebrate.

Wow where to start?
The Vineyard and the views are so beautiful even on a rainy day it looked picturesque.
The wines were simply to die for.
We had a tasting with Kimberly and she made our experience so much better, we absolutely loved her and she's definitely a money maker, also left us all in stitches as she was hilarious.
We had visited a couple of wineries beforehand but Tokar estate topped that 100%. I will definitely be coming back to try the restaurant next time.

Wonderful lunch on Australia Day.
Enjoyed sitting under the umbrella overlooking the vineyard and to the hills in the distance. This provided a great setting to eat great food. Try the croquettes, the tomato tart, the pork belly, and the roast beef. Interesting combinations that truly work.
Choose from 2 or 3 courses with sides extra.
The service was attentive (congratulations to Daniel and Charlotte). Get Daniel to make a cocktail and try the estate wines, especially the reds.

Absolutely Perfect.
Food was fresh presented beautifully and delicious. Ambience was nice has been renovated since I was here last. Staff friendly and attentive. Recommend the caramelised onion tart for entree poached chicken for main. Would have been nice to have stayed a little longer 2 hours is not enough time but understandably they were busy. Highly recommended.

Visited spontaneously on a gloomy Saturday evening before a local event and was a great find! Staff were attentive, lighthearted and let us do the wine tasting in a flexible format at our own pace. Aromatic delicious selection of wines and cheese.

Tokay is definitely on the list to revisit for lunch. I only came as part of a winery tour day. It was beautiful weather so sitting outside was beautiful. The staff were friendly and good at reading the room. They gave us some information through the wine tasting but didn’t provide complete details. And it was family friendly with lots of kids playing on the lawn.

We did a wine tasting with Kimberly. We had a fantastic time with her as she was knowledgeable and funny and managed to make us buy 3 bottles. We loved her and would definitely visit again!
