Busselton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I've been training with Jay for around 6 months. I was hesitant at first and unsure how i would go doing a sport so different to what im used to but i thoroughly enjoy it! I love the challenges and the fact that Jay assess my abilities and adapts things add additional technicality to keep me challeneged and my brain stimulated. I feel safer in knowing basic self defense and really enjoy the club culture and atmosphere! Highly recommend visiting and having a roll if you're in the area!

Coach Jay's over his many years in the sport and experience of other martial arts has adapted traditional BJJ to make it as effective as possible on and off the mats. Incorporating element of Wrestling and Krav Maga coach Jay constantly looks to improve the game and passing this knowledge on to his students allows you to make leaps and bounds in your game in such a short period of time. At the studio there is almost no restriction on submissions allowing you from white belt to experience all that BJJ has to offer. This helps reduce blind spots in your game and ultimately make you a better fighter than if your were training at a more traditional BJJ school. At the studio coach Jay takes pride in his students ability and will suggest a certain game and style for you to make best use of your attributes and make you as effective as possible, and this is something you won't find in other clubs. I am 15 now and have been training here for 18 months and with the help of Jay's teaching I now have the confidence to handle myself on and off the mats with guys much larger and stronger than me. The studio's friendly environment makes it enjoyable to train at and everyone there is trying to get you better in whatever way possible.
