Gin Gin Central Motel

The owner was so lovely and helpful. We had a rough day travelling and was able to grab up the last room at a very reasonable price. We had issues with our trailer and she told us not to stress, that we can just leave when we're ready. She even came up to have a chat and check on us in the morning. Will only stay here from now on. Kindness is everything.

This place is a must "Wow" should be more stars. Probably the two best nights sleep I've ever had. A short stroll to the best food I've ever had. The service was impeccable and it felt like home away from home. Amazing

We stayed here on our trip home to Mackay and it was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are lovely, very spacious and clean, comfy bed and we were able to have our little pooch stay with us, that's a big plus from me. Nicole is very welcoming and helpful and have a chat with other visitors staying there with pets. Just a short walk to the pub for tea and the Iga right next door to stock up on fruit for the drive. We will definitely stay there again.

Staying at his motel at the moment. Room is very comfortable and well laid out. It is close to local IGA and cafes and Pubs for dining.The hosts are very friendly and courteous, wonderful sense of humour. Will recommend the Central to family and friends. Thank you Marsha and Didi.

Tidy and very clean rooms. Great friendly hosts. Its the little things..the hand sanitiser on the table toilet spray, large mirrors. Cute and very modern decor. Extremely well priced. I would definitely recommend 👌

This is our go to motel when travelling between Mackay and Brisbane. It is dog friendly and Andrea and Didi are very welcoming. It's advisable to book though as it gets busy.

Extremely clean and large room with the best shower ever. Staff lovely. Accommodating for my family and dog. My kids thought they hit the jackpot finding some mentos on their towel/bed. Well recommend the stay!

Stayed here twice now on our way through town. Amazingly clean, very comfortable. Great customer service. Even though we didn't bring our dog this time great accommodation if you need too. Great job.

Great little motel for an overnight stay. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very functional and comfortable. Was a little hard to find I intially but when I had a "mummy" look I found it

Very clean, well maintained motel. The beds are great, for once a motel with every Foxtel channel. The rooms are great, well looked after and maintained. It shows that the owners actually care about their motel, given the presentation and layout of the room. I would definitely stay here anytime and they allow pets.

For a small country town this place is an absolute gem so clean and well laid out welcoming owners who couldn't do enough for you to make sure your stay is as relaxing as possible my husband came here to see his brother and spend time with him with our daughter and another brother they loved every second what's not to love when your in total peace and quiet if your ever travelling through gin gin and need somewhere to stay stop in here you wont be disappointed highly recommend Tammy and luke mills from the walcha caravan park

I recently stayed at this hotel with my dog, their concern for my dogs welfare was refreshing and delightful. It is hard to find somewhere to stay with a dog especially in the room with you. Whilst the facilities are a little dated the room was exceptionally clean and the staff were wonderful .Would highly recommend to people travelling with dogs.

The room was lovely. Huge. Great bathroom. Without doubt ine of the nicest motel rooms ever stopped in.Lady was friendly and helpful. Pub meal just 2 minutes walk fantastic too

We were traveling with 3 dogs in a van for 8 weeks and what a welcoming change to be able to stay overnight in one of the beautiful designated pet friendly rooms .
Can't recommend highly enough , everything is close by .
Hosts Marsha and Didi couldn't have made us feel more welcome .!!
