Took a chance and stopped for the night. Was highly impressed. Rooms are very clean. Lots of room. Everything we needed was there. Very quiet considering it’s on the main road.

Very pleasant reception arrival, rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, cleanest room I’ve stayed in for years, bed is very comfortable. If we were coming through Gin Gin again, this would be the place to stay.

Super friendly and accomodating staff. Came in late with a large boat and nothing was a problem. Rooms were perfectly clean, couldn’t ask for anything more.

After an extremely long drive I just happened upon The Wild Scotsman motel. Ann at reception went above and beyond to make my one night stay as comfortable as possible. I was very tired and hungry and Ann organised room service for me. The food was delicious and a glass of wine much appreciated. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable.

I was also pleased that the tea and coffee supplies were plentiful and there was even a mini-bar in the room, something you don't often get in a motel. I would highly recommend this motel to any traveller.

Comfortable bed! Thank you! Huge room. We were upstairs in number 12 on the 30th May 2023. Spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large, too. Double shower heads with instant hot water and the best water pressure, ever. Meals here were really delicious. If going through Gin Gin, do yourself a favour and pull into this place. What an unexpected gem! I'm sorry that my photo does not do it justice.

What a fantastic stay we had here. Big rooms and even bigger showers they had 2 shower heads lots of room for the shower chair. We had room service for dinner and it was delicious and we ordered breakfast and it was so big. Will definitely return.

The owner has had to take time off for a while and has a temporary manager in to run the place and a big shout out to them. They are so helpful and friendly and so observant in people’s needs. We had a disability room and they had a ramp for the doorway, moved the beds in the room to accommodate us to use a hoist in the room. The bathroom was spacious and worked very well for us to use a shower chair (our own chair) although they had a chair there. The food that was cooked and brought to the room was hot and very well cooked. Although on a busy road it is very well sound proofed and the room was quiet. This is a highly recommended place to stay. Thank you to all those involved in making ourselves feel welcome and comfortable all at the same time. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone who maybe traveling through and looking for that one rest stop that nobody talks about. Cheers

Highly recommend. If you need a comfy overnight stay in the area this motel doesn’t disappoint. The kids loved the pool and as parents we loved the comfy beds, Air con and delicious food delivered to our room. Nice town too : )

On a Friday night at 10.30pm my partner was exhausted from travelling. One phone call to the Country Comfort @ Gin Gin and within literally seconds he had a comfortable and very clean room opened and waiting for him to arrive. Cannot thank you enough for the zero hassle and exceptional service! ** HIGHLY RECOMMEND **

Clean, friendly, helpful and so very very glad they had a spare room for us. Well worth the money for the family room. Beds are very comfortable. Would recommend this motel to anyone. Thank you very much to the owners.

Very compfy beds, very clean motel friendly staff and housemaid very warm and friendly. Not much to see in Gin Gin but good for over night sleep. Had dinner at the Great Highway Hotel good price and highly recommend fabulous Chicken Schnitzel..

Highly recommend if you are looking for a clean and comfortable stay. The friendly ness of the staff and going out of their way to make our stay pleasurable and easy especially after a long day travelling and arriving late.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable quiet accommodation with excellent facilities, undercover parking and a lovely outdoor pool, friendly staff whom go out of their way to help, wonderful food in the restaurant, as well as room service all meals are reasonably priced, catering for families, couples and solo travellers,

We found ourselves unexpectedly in Gin Gin for the night after car troubles. What a wonderful stay, Jeff and Judy were very welcoming and friendly. We were offered late check out and could store our luggage in their office until late the following day allowing the mechanic to finish working on our car. Their hospitality was second to none and very appreciated. Thank you.

Called into this place in very short notice on Saturday to check out the site for handicapped customers (clients). Very spacious and very affordable. Have booked for April and are very happy with the hosts in the way we were made to feel welcome. Thanks

My husband and daughter stayed here last Monday and Tuesday visiting family in the area and they absolutely loved it the bed was comfortable the service was perfect and friendly the room was clean pool was fun so fun that our daughter stayed in it for hours and made friends thanks for their stay much appreciated they will definitely be back on their next trip Tammy from the walcha caravan park

Overall nice for a short stay. There was no microwave in my room but they provided it when I requested.
