Gin Gin Showground

Thank you Kevin for a lovely night at the showground. This is a great place to stop over. Kevin is very welcoming and the facilities are clean and maintained.There is a dump point here as well. Walk to town. A great spit. We have stayed here before and will back.

2 night stop here Power site & Water must catch sullage however they have a grey & black water dump point too. Caretaker on site, Kevin bit of a card too, power site $25 unpowered $20.

Great sites, older but spotless amenities, there is a disabled shower/toilet.
Washing machine available, just ask to use and pay $4, very small clothes line though.
Very close to bowls club, hardware and bakehouse. Longer walk to other shops.
Great little market in town, opposite the Post Office, with the absolute best breakfast deal.
And thank you so much to the caretakers for the friendly help, advice and chats.
Was a great place for our day/overnighter.

Convenient stop for couple of days at $25 a night .Clean showers,powered site with water. Must contain waste but provided with drums. Dump point at entrance.Caretaker Keith and his wife are rare gems with good old fashioned service.

Had to make a late booking due to traveling on our way home. The caretaker managed to get us in no troubles at all, he was very helpful and friendly. He was able to put us on a powered site was great.

The Showgrounds was super clean and tidy and the site that we were given was great, beautifully grassed and close to the amenities which were faultless, super clean and shower had great pressure and hot water.
Great to see many other caravan’s in the Showgrounds also.
We used the camp kitchen also to cook a bbq dinner and that was also spotless and tidy

The location on the caravan park is also great, close distance to walk or drive into town and also close to petrol stations.
A must try is the Gin gin bakery, amazing pies, pastries and coffee.

All in all we had a great one nights stay and will keep it in mind as a place to stay in our future travels. Was a great price also for the night.

Nice spot. Welcoming and friendly. Open, grassy and clean. Very nice camp kitchen.
New toilets have been built.

Excellent overnight stop. $25 dollars for powered site, very big drive through. Clean and modern toilets and shower. Great Bowling club right next door and 2 minutes walk to town.

Stayed at Gin Gin Showgrounds last night. Plenty of room. Camp kitchen clean. Some older amenities that were clean. The caretaker told us about the newer ensuite type amenities up the other end, we used them, very clean and showers nice and hot. We thought we were gonna arrive after gates closed, the caretaker was very accommodating for this. Great communication. We arrived on time. We would stay again. $25 well worth it. Great little town.

Gin Gin Showground offers great camping accommodation for van or tents. Clean amenities & dog friendly. Kevin, the caretaker, is very friendly & helpful. Walk to shops, community pool & Bowling Club.
Highly recommend sites ( marked with power boxes 7 & 8) along King st fence, great afternoon shade on those hot/High UV days 👍

Thank you to Kev for being such a wonderful host and human being. We broke down just outside of Gin Gin and got towed back with RACQ to Gin Gin Showgrounds by Kiwi. What a great person. So helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We ended up staying at the Showgrounds for six nights and made the most of the lovely little town before we got our car back and headed home. The amenities were spotless and the grounds were a credit to Kev. Thanks to Kev and his lovely wife for making our unexpected stay a total pleasure. Carol and Allan Beard. 👍👍👍👍

Arrived at showground 2 days ago two adults 2 kids 1 dog and 2 guinea pigs and was welcomed by Kevin. after a short enlightening conversation he directed us to the perfect spot for us and have loved every minute of being here. Plenty of room and the grounds are meticulously well groomed. Kevin is always around doing bits and pieces keeping the place looking great

This is a great spot, clean facilities, well maintained grounds, plenty of room and a short walk to the shops.

Kev was a good help and the place was a peaceful stay will definitely come back to stay and see him in the future

As caretaker we do get a wide range of people ..obviously the ones that are rude ignorant etc get treated same way..respect earns respect..we definitely do not charge $50 a night..Mr W H-M..and obviously if you are staying in the wet season and it rains (which I can't control )..you get wet feet..and we have 4 different amenities..not one..our charges are $20 a night /couple ..power and water..hot showers Inc.. would appreciate people talking with me instead of slandering..cheers
