Dôme Café - East Fremantle

What a great place for a coffee!

The view of the river is amazing and I'm happy to say the coffee was good too (I usually don't like Dome coffee)

The view is the real draw card here and at night I've never found it to be busy.

Well worth a visit, have a catchup with friends and enjoy the tranquillity of the river views 😀

Just adding, I didn't have food, just a pastry which was yum! Generally, Dome food isn't my favourite but I can't fault what I had.

Lovely place right next to the water. We enjoyed our meal and nice sunset of Perth.

I had breakfast here this morning with a friend. I have always had the best experience here. Whoever the chef is, please do whatever it takes to keep them. The poached eggs were absolutely divine. The wait staff were wonderful. Dome was a wonderful start to my birthday

Very beautiful dine out place. Great location and best ice coffee in the city.

Iconic location. I had my wedding reception there before the war.

A pelican sailed by the boardwalk adjacent to the outdoor seating area.

A beautiful fishing bird adorned the river bank as I entered.

You will never disappoint any visitor bringing them here.

The location makes it hard to leave.

What an amazing view from Domes. Had chai latte and a carrot cake. So yummy and the view was breathtaking. Chilllax atmosphere and very attentive staff. Highly recommended for families especially on fathers day or mother day.

Such a lovely place and very good food, often busy over weekend. Perfect location for breakfast, lunch, friendly catch up with friends and family brunch....

The lot burger was incredible chips where okay honey macadamia cheese cake scrumptious

Having a meal on the Swan River, listening to the rhythm of the nature and enjoying the breeze is so wonderful and could be a romantic for some. Great place to have coffee and chit chatting. Bring your friend and relax at this lovely place, would you?

Food is always good at any Dome cafe/restaurant.. I like this one as its a little different to the other Dome cafes I have frequented.. All the other Dome cafes are inner city or surrounded by other buildings.. This Dome is on a jetty thing on the edge of the Swan river.. It even has a jetty that boats can come and tie up to.. The service is good.. Waiters and waitresses are fast with table service and ask how the meal or drinks are. Not many places do that any more..

Edit: This Dome was closed for a couple of months for refurbishment - they have new toilets and a flash new kitchen.. Even the floors in the restaurant have been polished.. The whole place is looking all fresh and new.. The food we had was up to its usual standard.. I enjoyed it as much as I always have..

I've been here on many occasions but today's visit was somewhat lacklustre..

Whats happened to the quality of service? The person taking my order was so abrupt with me I felt like turning on my heel and walking straight back out.. When the plates came out to my table they weren't placed but dumped with a clatter.. Almost as if the plates were like hot rocks.. My milkshake was half full and had no bubbles in it.. It was more like a cold flat milk drink.. I've had more bubbles in a carton of choc milk I've shaken myself...

Not happy..

On rainy day Dome fair busy in side staff very good with service , keeping up clearing table keeping place moving along an clean ......

Love going there just chilli out .....

Great coffee ☕ 😋 and the warm apple pie 🥧 and cream is a must. Built right on the river, the view is relaxing 😌.

Service and atmosphere was Excellent . Fish and salad was a Great Meal.Cheers

Great value food, excellent service and the spot right on the Swan River in East Fremantle could not have a better place to sit, eat, chat and admire the view.Young Jessie is very attentive and considerate, goes far beyond the normal service you would expect and with her attitude will do very well in life.

Truely enjoyable experience. Sitting over the water on the outdoor wooden deck, enjoying brunch while the watercraft drifted by.
The food was cooked to perfection and visually pleasing and the staff were very attentive and polite without being intrusive. The coffee was very satisfying and although the cafe was very busy, sated and relaxed set the mood for the day.

The usual Dome Cafe options set on the river, glorious in summer on a nice day. The staff are very friendly and worth a visit after a cruise through Fremantle.
