Great Silkroad Uyghur Restaurant Ashfield

One of the best Uyghur restaurant. The food was delicious and so freshly cooked with amazing aroma. Words can describe it so I’m going to share few photos I took tonight.

Delicious foods! My favorites are the lamb skewers and the meat pie. The skewers are tender, juicy and not gamey. The pie crust is thin and crispy. So delicious! We also tried the yoghurt drink. It’s sweet and not sour. Overall, it was a really interesting and lovely experience!

Unique cuisine with tasteful flavours and family-sized portions. Best to go with a small group of friends & families! Best item I think is their Lamb Meat Pie ~

We absolutely love this place! food is amazing, staff are wonderful, really well priced. such an amazing little local! We just took our parents here visiting from our of town and they loved it! The giant skewers of meat are such a crowd pleaser!

If you want to try a different style of Oriental food in a very informal place go here.

Big plate chicken is definitely the best. Love the flat noodle in it. It is enough for at least four people. The owner is very kind and nice. Will come again!!

Great food! It was my first time eating Ugyur cuisine but I was very satisfied. Even my friend who had it at other places said this one was the best one he had so far. The lamb skewers were especially impressive, both visually and taste wise. The meat was tender and juicy and the seasoning was very flavoursome. The yogurt drink was sweet and tasty as well. Would recommend!

Such a unique and tasty cuisine! Perfectly seasoned dishes, exciting menu and lovely service. The fried eggplant was the highlight for me this time. Looking forward to returning with friends and trying more dishes on the menu! Highly recommend!

Came here just tonight, and i got so excited to leave a review because the food is really good! Not familiar with the cuisine and asked for the bestseller. We went on to order the Lamb Ribs and Toho Kordak. Also got the sweet hot milktea. Yum!

Very delicious dishes. We had chicken with flat noodle, eggplant, lamb bbq and nan. The nan looks plain but very tasty. The chicken was very nice. The lamb bbq tastes so good that we forgot to take photos until they were almost finished. The yoghurt was great too. We would definitely come back again.

The best Uyghur lamb skewers ever! The meat is so juicy and tender inside, and crispy outside. Huge portion. Will absolutely come back often

The food is really nice especially for these Laghmans and Big Plate Chicken. Suitable for family ceremonies. The chief is very skilful at cooking and the lady boss is super kind and generous.

Travelled to Xinjiang and alway loved food from the far West of inland China, I’d say they serve very authentic Xinjiang dishes.
The lamb and spiced with cumin and slow cook with such tender meat and the naan is so soft and well soaked with the gravy.

Baked bun is a must try as it’s such an authentic entree of Uyghur cuisine.

Their handmade tick noodle is also very chewy and flavourful.

Wanting to try their lamb skewers and meat naan next time!

Family run restaurant with amazing food. Their lamb skewers and the hand pulled noodles are freshly made and tastes divine. Must come back to try their naan and chicken dishes.

Very good Uighur restaurant. Nice setting! Incredibly friendly prices. The food was delicious. We had plov and skewers, pulled noodles with beef, chicken and potatoes dish and Uighur salad.

Amazing food with a very reasonable price. Must try their Toho Kordar and grilled lamb skewer. Although not that many people when visiting but food is delicious.
