Lake Macquarie Memorial Park

We celebrated the life of my Grandmother here today. A beautiful and very peaceful place surrounded by rolling lawns and gardens. The whole service was very professional and respectful. The staff were wonderful, especially Greg and Karen. They allowed me to return after the service to bless the coffin with holy water, which my Grandmother asked me to do. This was very special and meant a lot to me.

It is just over 12 months since we lost our son and almost 12 months since we got his memorial complete here. It is an amazing place, such a peaceful and beautiful place. We had his funeral here and from that point we were treated so nice. The staff are amazing in particular Amanda was amazing and so helpful during the worst time of our life. Can't recommend them enough at such a sad time.

My mum is here. It’s a lovely peaceful place. I’ve often seen kangaroos just wandering through. My mum would’ve loved that. It had been a while since I had visited and couldn’t find her - it would be great if they had a map, but I found her in the end.

My kids organised a spot with a plaque for their Dad in the gardens. My daughter said that the staff there were really kind and helpful. I went to visit today and Amanda was wonderful, knew exactly where his spot was, remembered my children and said how lovely they were. It's peaceful and scenic and a lovely place to leave our loved ones to rest.

Absolutely beautiful setting for what was a sad time in our lives. There's lots of wildlife around, including kangaroos, which gives a peaceful atmosphere. The chapel was lovely, large screens and good audio for people outside.

The celebration of my partners life here went beautifully. The day as sad as it was I feel we did justice for Phill.....such a lovely place and the staff were wonderful along with our celebrant and the Salvation Army...Amanda from Lake Macqaurie Memorial Park was such a lovely lady to work with in organising a spot and plaque for Phill, so caring and understanding...The day could not have gone any better....Thank you

Scott Newstead’s funeral how I wish I could be there Scott was an inspiration to me growing up. I was saddened to hear the news that Scott had passed away being only a year older than myself too young to be taken he will be dearly missed. He was always nice to me when I was attending Cessnock high even though most of his peers in his age group weren’t. I was friends with his brothers Brad and Paul we were gym squad clowns together. I would have liked to have known him better as he was always the larrikin and made me laugh. A very appropriate photo of him upon his final approach see you mate may you Rest In Peace.
