The food was really good and on par with the best Thai I've had anywhere in Australia and London. The lunch specials were very generous servings (comparable to evening mains I've had at other restaurants) including lots of meat and vegetables. The view from the 2nd floor balcony were great too. We went as an extended family lunch for Friday lunch whilst on holidays from Sydney.

The meals came out quickly given they were doing a reasonable takeaway trade and had most of the tables filled. The customer service was great too.

If I were a local I'd definitely be back more often.

Absolutely perfect food, delicious, the laksa had a good burn to it, could have been a bit spicier though.

The service was amazing, the waiters were making sure everyone was happy, they were efficient, and they seemed to be happy with what they were doing. The waiters kept apologizing, for the food was a bit of a wait, but we understood, the restaurant was packed, and there were a lot of people getting takeout.

The atmosphere was exactly what you'd imagine for a place of this quality, it was quiet, a great view, and the restaurant itself was decorated beautifully.

Their takeaway has always been good. First time dining in. Their dine in service. AWESOME.
Stopped in for lunch - ordered and sat up on the second floor overlooking the lake. Food came out fast and fresh. Well done guys!

Beautiful atmosphere overlooking the lake. Staff were extremely friendly and the dishes came out super quick! We ordered the toron salmon, lamb shanks, pork belly, pad see ew and a sliced beef with sweet chilli dip. The pork belly came out a bit overcooked so was very tough to eat which was unfortunate. But otherwise every other dish was delicious. Especially recommend the lamb shanks which was so incredibly tender and meat just came off the bone. You may need to make a reservation because there are limited tables on the second floor for the prime lake view so definitely book ahead of time!

Food was delicious and very generous portions. They have a vegan menu too! Staff very polite and attentive. We got the sweet and sour vegetables and chicken fried rice.

Visited for the first time on a friends recommendation and was definitely not disappointed.

A little wait for our food but that’s because it was all cooked fresh and when it was served, hands down worth the wait!

Service from the staff and owner was lovely. Very friendly all night no matter how busy they got.

Venue is a little cosy once tables are filled but it just adds to a nicer atmosphere imo.

Would happily visit every time I visit Newcastle.

We have had a few deliveries from here the quality is usually just ok. Today the food was amazing 10 juicy prawns in my super tasty green curry and lots of meat in my hubby’s green curry. The veggie stir fry was great too ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing food that is terrific value for money. The portion sizes ensure that you will have leftovers for lunch the next day

Great tasting food and a nice relaxing atmosphere.
The waitress was very well mannered and welcoming.
Beautiful seafood Tom Yum soup, soft shell ctab and the duck salad was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. We ordered the laksa, the prawn salad and the pad Thai. The serves were generous, the flavours were fragrant and the service most pleasant. We ate there twice in our short stay in Toronto and can recommend this restaurant 100%.

Was wondering where to go last night having just moved to the area. Ordered the basil, chilli duck and pad kee mao chicken. Very generous serving and delicious. Will be back!!

My family and I have been here several times now and it has been fantastic every time. Food is always delicious and so fresh. I want to personally thank you guys for being so nice about having my 21st bday dinner their last Tuesday. Everyone loved the food and the service was prompt despite having 14 of us there. Thank you for such a great experience!!

This place serves the most magnificent Thai, hands down. Ingredients are fresh, portion sizes are generous, and the staff are super friendly. I absolutely love the Scottish waiter who is always friendly and happy to chat with customers. The views here are beautiful at sunset. Highly recommended.

Best Thai restaurant . We have been there many times, taken friends, and our son , who ownes a restaurant, said it's the best thai he's had. It's our favourite place to eat. Staff, ambience and value great. Thank you Alex and team Toronthai. We'll be back, again soon.

Just had dinner delivered from Toronthai, was absolutely brilliant. Every dish we ordered was delicious, hot and fresh ingredients. We have just moved to the area, and we were wondering where we are going to get Thai. That box is officially ticked. Thanks again
