I've never been to an emergency room in my life, but I suddenly found myself attending it thrice this week due to some very worrying and intensifying symptoms. All three of the doctors and nurses who treated me were incredibly thorough and reassuring and provided helpful treatment. In my first two visits I was seen to and discharged in the quick span of four hours, and, even after a longer wait on my third visit (due to it being a busier night and also probably due to the fact that my symptoms had only intensified rather than changed) was still no problem at all. The waiting room was also very clean, and I felt very safe sitting in there for the time that I did. Thanks to Dr Murray, Dr Liu, Dr Helgesen, and all the nurses/receptionists.

Recently my partner faced a health issue that required I call 000.

Every step of the way, from the paramedics, to the ER staff, to the nurses and doctors in the cardiology ward were all attentive, friendly and professional.

I noticed every person we interacted with had a great sense of humour which lightened the mood which helped greatly as my partner has anxiety.

Hopefully we don’t need to cross paths again, but if we do I will know that we’re in great hands.

I would like to say a big thank you to the PoW staff in the ED and Community Assessment Unit for caring so well for our Mum who is 95. Compassionate, friendly and professional at all levels, Nurses, Doctors, Pharmacist, ward staff and the security guy who gave us a cup of tea and a meal whilst Mum waited for a bed. Also a mention for the Paramedics who helped Mum to get to hospital, they were a great team. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful health system!

Thank You All.

I don’t normally write reviews about healthcare professionals, but found the need to do so on this occasion. Dr Melvin Chin is my father’s oncologist and I must say that he has been wonderful to deal with. His empathy and professionalism is second to none. He has planned, managed and adjusted dad’s care plan meticulously every step of the way. Always made himself available to help in every situation. So Dr Melvin Chin I thank you for your care and diligence and I’m sure that I’m not alone in my sentiment as there would be many patients that are in your gratitude. ~ George

Recently had a medical emergency on Christmas boxing day (4 hour ordeal), super thankful to Dr Davis for his help. He was explained each step of the process, the cause, treatment. He also provided a very detailed treatment plan, and discharge letter for follow up treatment with the GP. The Nurses were also super nice.
Thank you !

We are Europeans, on a two-month Australian tour. Right in the beginning of it, I needed to go to emergencies to a nearby Hospital due to, to me unknown, severe pain.
Dr. MATT DAVIS from the emergency unit of the Prince of Wales Hospital was exceptionally caring, kind and thorough in his approach towards diagnosis and amazing in his aftercare, even calling me to see how I felt, a few days after my visit.
This is very special in times of artificial intelligence and unpersonal treatment, the reason why I am very grateful having met with this special person.

The hospital is brand new, even to the point that the taxi would not know where the new entrance was. The professional team and equipment gave me a lot of confidence, especially being so far from home on a different continental altogether.

I have never been let down by the amazing nurses and doctors with all of my ailments over the years. The staff treated my mother so well after major surgery last year. Blessed to be so close to such a well functioning hospital.
