Beautiful restaurant, very upscale vibe. Nice views of the river in Kyle Bay. The set degustation menu is very creative and unique whilst still maintaining the traditional Greek and Cypriot flavours.
The service is impeccable, very friendly and professional and they are knowledgeable of the menu and describe each dish to you when they serve it. Their concept is brilliant and well-executed, it was a delightful culinary experience. The cocktails are also wonderful - the Metaxa old fashioned is a must try, and the cosmopolitan was great too.
Not pictured: a lemon loukoumi palate cleanser (served before the dessert)
Pictured but not included in menu: white tarama/caviar wafer cones

We had our intimate wedding ceremony and lunch in the Starboard Private room at The Kyle Bay in September 2023. It was an absolutely beautiful and a magical day. Julia was our Event Coordinator and was so helpful, friendly, warm and accomodating with all our requests with a welcoming bright smile and nature. We had last minute guests arriving from overseas and The Kyle Bay accommodated them so effortlessly and even helping store their luggage!

The food was so delicious with guests complimenting the quality and the size of the dishes. The banquet menu truly is a chefs kiss, with all dishes curated so beautifully. If I had to choose, the soft lamb that melts in your mouth and panna cotta were my favourite!

I'd recommend The Kyle Bay to anyone no matter how large or small the group. As an intimate wedding size, I was wary that we were too small however we were met with warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff :).

This is some of the most amazing food we have tasted. We had the set lunch menu, It may not appear to be a lot but with each portion you are truly satisfied by the end of the experience. My wife and I celebrated her birthday there and we brought along our 5 year old and 2 year kids and the restaurant was more than accommodating, outstanding friendly service and a beautiful aspect to look outside of the Georges river. Can't fault the total experience. 5stars

We had our wedding reception at The Kyle Bay on Georges River and it truly was the perfect venue for us!

We couldn't fault anything on the night - the appearance of the venue, the quality (and quantity) of the food, the attentive staff and our lovely coordinator, Diana - all absolutely brilliant. It was our pleasure to have our guests celebrate with us at this outstanding venue.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Kyle Bay for special events and we look forward to dining at JAAKS restaurant in future.

Once again, a wonderful meal. Ambience was perfect for a catchup with friends. Service was fabulous, and all the different courses tasty and so beautifully presented. Thank you for catering for my salt issues, bowled over with the bread made especially for me. Outstanding. Thank you to all of you.

What a great find within the George’s River area. I came today for a small birthday gathering for lunch and am astounded by how attentive the staff was, and the quality of the food.I have never had Greek food like this before and it blew us all away. All six courses were all so beautifully presented- especially the first course,The tarama macaron was so interesting! They also had organic wine which was a plus for me! The views were also spectacular!

We had the degustation to celebrate my husbands birthday - every dish was delicious- the chef certainly has fun with his creations. The Waiter Harry was very attentive and knowledgeable- and a visit from the chef to see how we liked our meal was a great way to finish.

I visited Jaaks Dining restaurant for a family lunch on a Sunday. The service from all of the staff was super friendly and our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained what each dish was as he brought them out. We all had the sharing plates between almost twenty of us and the serving sizes were all perfect. The food was super delicious and, of course, we ended with Greek coffee, tea and kourabiethes (Greek shortbread). There was plenty of parking on the property and it is wheelchair friendly.

Perfect location on the water. Ample parking and access. Food was great! We had the $55 set menu with some additions and we were not disappointed. Stand out dish was the lamb neck! I will be returning soon!

To celebrate a birthday milestone for dad, we wanted to get the family together for a memorable Sunday lunch.

The Port Private Dining was the right size for our party of approx. 20. As we had the space to ourselves, I noticed that everyone was very connected. We could hear each other better than if we were in a restaurant during a busy Sunday lunch service, and everyone seemed to relax in this environment. Some touching moments during the speeches wouldn't have arisen in a crowded restaurant.

I want to compliment management and staff for the service and support. The correspondence was clear and the delivery - vegan meals, drinks selection, timing of service - was exact to the final detail. And the flavour of the food was superb. All praises of the dining experience at The Kyle Bay are deserved - Greek Fine Dining with excellent service.

Would have give it a 6 stars if google has that option!
Absolutely spectacular view and beautiful food, plus friendly and helpful staffs.
All plated are decided to share with friends and family, a great place to have catchup lunch/ dinner.
Children friendly and plenty of spaces for them to walk around.
Especially loved their octopus dish, cauliflower and also the chocolate mousse.
Lamb shoulder is very soft, and tender that meat fall off bone easily.
They also have a huge lounge for drinks & coffee.

I can only give 5 stars to this restaurant! If you follow my reviews I tend to carefully preselect the places I go and I have to say it was definitely worth the 30min trip.
If you don’t have great knowledge of Greek cuisine I strongly recommend the fixed taste menu @ just $59 and the extras plus some wine from their quite wide selection, to bad bad they don’t have them all by the glass but what they offer is enough for your first time there.
Location is great, quite and near the water, the place is well designed and therefore not to noisy.
The food is amazing and I would suggest adding their add-ons to the fixed menu, especially the Sheftalies (pork meat balls with roasted eggplant in tahini sauce and chilly butter)...plus some of the seasoning and veggies from the little side garden they made outside.
Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
With the add-ons and wine you might pass the $100/pp but, again, this is a must go place and it is definitely worth it.
There is NO DOUBT we will be back...and next time we’ll take the baby with us considering that place and location are suitable.
We have booked via Google link and found everything was ready without calling back to confirm...sometimes restaurants promote the online booking but you have to call them to find it has not been booked, here no problems whatsoever.
Thanks to all of you guys and till the next time.

The Kyle Bay was our picturesque choice for our amazing wedding day!

We wanted to thank George and Diana from the bottom of our hearts for going above and beyond on our special day.

We have both been inundated with comments and praise about the delicious food and hospitality, and so grateful that we had the weather gods on our side as well! Couldn't have asked for a better day! Your staff were all amazing and every request was met with a smile. I think people will be raving about our event for a while and I know a few people that wish to book their future events with you! You were also so great with the bunnies which made our day- so special! Highly recommend The Kyle Bay for your momentous occasions!

Greek food turned into an amazing experience one will never forget.
The entrees were,
Tilba halloumi with truffle honey.
Charcoal Macaroon salted with tarama.
And Pasturma tarts with garlic yoghurt, mint, and ouzo compressed cucumber.
And all these entrees gave this explosion of texture and flavours that made my taste buds fall in love.
Then came this salad which didn't look like a salad as I have known salads to be.
The salad had a tomato marshmallow, shaved feta, dehydrated olives, capsicum gel, fresh oregano, and a consommè of cucumber, vinegar and olive oil.
This was where science met cooking and boy did the two fuse together to make a wonderful culinary delight that you need to try.

Then we had our pickled octopus, which was so good that I stole my friends serving as they were allergic.
This reminded me of a Japanese style octopus dish.
Then came the duck well the Maremma duck was served with kefalograviera covered cornmeal and a xinomavro jus.
The duck was cooked to perfection when eaten with the crusted cornmeal and jus the flavours were just Devine, and last savoury course was the lamb sheftalia made from slow cooked lamb neck, potato and feta dauphinoise, and tahini yoghurt. The lamb neck was so tender and totally amazing with the tahini yoghurt.
Finally the dessert was rizogalo with fresh raspberries burnt sugar and white chocolate.
What a way to end a culinary exploration of senses and tastes I never thought I had truly amazing.

I truly appreciated the amazing food and hope you will try out this restaurant.

Thank you so much to the hosts, Diana and George, for providing such an amazing venue for my wedding 😊 Had been here before when it was Zippo's and now that it's transformed into a venue at the top, it's truly amazing!
Location was everything we wanted: local, hidden, intimate, special and has a water view. The food was fantastic, I still have guests talking about how delicious their 72 hour beef main meal was, only regret was thinking everyone should've gotten the beef!
If you are looking for an intimate setting, that's full of simple and classic elegance, I'd recommend The Kyle Bay on George's River

Visited Jaaks after proposing to my partner earlier in the day and had such an amazing time.
The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and the staff, especially our host Harry, were attentive, helpful and friendly.
The food was well presented, creative and delicious.
We can't recommend the restaurant highly enough. Thank you so much for ensuring we had a special, memorable evening!

Nice to find a local fine dining restaurant! Location is nice near the Bay, although you can't see much outside at night (although we happened to catch some fireworks that were being lit across the water possibly around Blakehurst). Food was good overall, although some dishes tended to be on the bit too salty side. Haloumi and dessert were stand outs. All Greek/Cypriot inspired which was different! Set menu only, but they were able to accommodate some dietary requirements. Good place for a special occasion, although I'm not sure how often they change their menu to make it worth visiting frequently. Service was attentive and friendly - noting it was a bit quiet when we visited. Overall a nice experience.
