The Bank Hotel Dungog

The Bank Hotel. Great place to stop. Had a great lunch. Chips and burgers were amazing. Staff friendly and welcoming. Locals funny, friendly and so welcoming. Will come back. Didn't stay in room but I hear they are good as well.

Had an overnight stay in this great old pub and was pleasantly surprised. Great staff with a live band playing in the sports bar topped off my stay.

Beautiful country pub, food was incredible and quick. All the staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an awesome country pub with great food look no further.

15 of us went for lunch and not one person didn’t stop raving about their meal . Was good to eat good old fashion pub meals . Large servings with great sides !! Hanging to go back ! Works burger in photo was devine .

Visited for 1st time the bar staff and locals are friendly and the bistro staff are awesome love the pokies room too and clean toilets thank you for a nice family experience food was excellent too will recommend my family and friends to stop in and visit

Was pleasantly surprised with dinner serving sizes. Added bonus of happy hour when we arrived. Wood fires helped keep the venue warm against the cold weather.

Great pub, plenty of space and a lively crowd on a Saturday night. Staff are fabulous and let me store my broken motorcycle there for a few days until it could be repaired. We stayed overnight and the beds were comfortable and the new airconditioning was warm. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great pub fare with big portions. We had the cheesy garlic bread, arancini, lamb shanks and steak. All the food was great.

Great country pub, rich history, hearty meals at old fashioned prices and cool air conditioning. I could have stayed there all day, such an easy going atmosphere. I had the parmi with chips and vegetables and complimentary gravy. All cooked to perfection and served promptly.

Stopped in for a quick drink and bite. Priced well and staff were excellent and so accommodating. Will definitely be back again.

The best pub in the scrub!! The staff are more than accommodating, friendly and love to have a chat. It's like a crab pot haha once you're in ya can't get out!
And the food is bloody awesome!
Jukebox, pool table, beer garden and always clean loos.

BTW strict QR code sign in for covid,plenty of hand sanitiser about. And an awesome fire inside the pub gave it that homely atmosphere

Love the old world pubs and this one is certainly one of them. Great beers on tap. Lunch was superb. Great menu and all meals are huge. Plenty of parking.

Just finished the Newcastle - Dungog charity ride. Went to the Bank for a feed & drink. Great value & tasty Works Steak Sambo. Sat outside in the sun, was top value. 👍👍

Service was great. Had the steak for lunch will be going back. Huge and cooked how I asked.

Excellent old style pub and accommodation with a good restaurant to dine at. The service team in pub are friendly and really helpful. 10/10 from me for the Bank Hotel Dungog
