I Loved this place❤❤. The people were very Generous and help me so much. The entire setting looks very tropical. Food was amazing. It is dog friendly. Service was good. Bathrooms were clean. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this place.

Wow what a Place to have great food and very friendly service . This is a real Tiki Bar Beachy Holiday resort feel .

I get to Kurnell once a week and we drop into The Cook whenever we do. The coffee is my litmus for any good cafe and The Cook is very good 8/10. Their food menu is broad and tasty with affordable prices. Their open times can move slightly as we have turned up when it was closed. Enjoy.

Where else in Sydney can you have excellent seafood and beers while your feet are in sand and watching the sunset ? There is nowhere. A Sydney must-do.

While most are grounded due to the pandemic, come to Cook@Kurnell to reunite with the heat of the equatorial islands. Indulge in a glass of tropical mojito, and disguise your “travel” posts on instagram to make friends around you jealous!

The hula umbrella decor cannot have a better fit under the blue sky, furnished with colorful tropical island-style tables and chairs, creating a superb summer vibe. The owner throws different themes from jazz to Mexican tunes; soothing as one drowns in the selection of cocktails.

Not many choices on the menu though, so I didn't have high expectations of the food. However it turned out to be delightful both in appearance and taste, which is quite a pleasant surprise. There are surcharges on Sundays and public holidays, perhaps plan your trip from Monday to Saturday?

Amazing place in the deep corner of Kurnell, which should be 10 times busier than it is. So relaxing, it felt like we were on holidays, and is only a short drive away. Highly recommend for a nice Sunday lunch/afternoon.

They ran out of fish and chips and were quick to change the order and offer us coffees. Very friendly and tasty food and delicious coffee. Setting is perfect next to beach, chill atmosphere and dog friendly. WIN!

Good coffee. Mixed berry smoothie was a hit. Great chicken burgers. Maybe a bit pricey at $16 or could have come with a side of fries for the same price. But the burgers were REALLY REALLY tasty, nice fresh bun. Chicken was full of flavour and nice and moist. Really good burger.

Just love Cook @ Kurnell! As a local we feel so lucky to have this venue available to us! The food, drinks & service is top shelf!

In spite of the cloudy and rainy day we visited we found a big tent structure to shelter in and used the rugs provided to get warm. Food was great, including what was definitely homemade pea & ham soup and minestrone soup. The salt & pepper calamari with a side of beer battered fries also quickly disappeared. In the summer this place would be even better with lovely views of the bay and a short stroll to the beach with plenty of nearby parking

Beautiful pkace with stunning atmosphere and super friendly staff.

Located In a nice spot. I was initially a bit worried about the prices when I first saw the menu (New year's Day) but we shared the fisherman's basket as a picnic (2 adults and a small child) and it was really worth it: all components were well cooked, well seasoned and generous. We will come back if we are in the area

The place is beautiful. Located at the end of kurnell. I was there last weekend when the only road to get there was closed due to an accident in the evening.
Staff managed this very very well by staying open on an Sunday evening and the food was amazing !!!
Thanks a lot to all the staff and I highly recommend this place.
Kids were really happy also.

At night you Will have a beautiful view on the harbour and airport

Finally a place where u can enjoy your breakkie/ lunch with your spouse but most important with your pet.
Yes it is PET FRIENDLY!
The atmosphere is quiet, though there is lot of dog they are all on leash and no barking at all,
You will enjoy some nice mix of music, and food is great.
Keep going guys.

A fabulous rustic beach cafe, pet friendly, variety of easy eat food on the menu.,..Owner usually around, younger staff always happy and helpful.
Take your dog to the dog beach then relax at the cafe ....

I came here for the weekend, it was amazing, friendly staff, I love your smoothies and was super happy. 🙏🏻🤍
