Loved! Had a brilliant time. Met some lovely people on the table. The food was pretty good. Great to watch the sunset and loved the star talk.

A great experience I would recommend!

Another must do when at Yulara. Delicious dinner, breathtaking sunset views. Cloudy, so the star gazing talk was a bit difficult, but it all added to the experience of the evening.

Highly recommend this experience. Drinks and canapes on arrival to watch the sunset on Uluru and over Kata Tjuta. Then off to dinner under the stars. Food and service was excellent from start to finish. And not once did i need to ask for a top up on my drink! Then the final part of the evening was a tour of the night sky with a local astronomer and some quiet time to listen to the sounds of desert silence. And if the night sky and stars are your thing, remember check the lunar cycles and weather forecasts before booking.

This is a fantastic experience. The food was nice, buffet style. Free flowing wine. The highlight is really the surroundings, seeing Uluru at sunset, dining under the stars, seeing Kata Tjuta with sunset in the background. The astrology talk was also entertaining 😊

My husband booked this tour and I was skeptical initially but I was wrong! The tour started with an amazing cocktail with view on the Uluru. There is plenty of time to take photos and see the sunset. This is truly magnificent to witness the countless colours of the Uluru as the sunset go through. We all took billions of photos as it was so beautiful. You are in the middle of the desert and this is truly a one of the kind experience. Then you move over to the dinner as the sun is disappearing. I never witness so many beautiful colors from pink, orange, red, purple, blue. This was mesmerising. You end up in pitch dark at some point to witness all the stars and silence.
The food was from my point of view ok but not mind blowing. The service was perfect with very nice hosts / waiters and stars expert. I totally recommend it. You will feel in a different dimension.

Just loved this experience. We were well looked after from the time we were picked up at our accommodation. The bus driver was funny and informative. The food was pretty good. Some people complained, wanting a 5 star gastronoical experience, however what did they expect for being waited on out in the desert in the middle of nowhere?... The whole experience really warranted the cost. It's well worth outlaying the money for this once in a life time dining experience with a view of the most amazing big rock in the world. In addition, there was a great didge player and they also shut off the lanterns and we had an astronomy show. Wow! What more could you want! Deserved the full 5+ Stars.

Absolutely recommend everyone so this if you can afford it. We went for our anniversary and were lucky to get a very clear night. The staff were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious. The night sky/star presentation great. We met a number of lovely people at dinner and drinks. Best part of our trip.

We were greeted by coach at sails resort and taken to the sand dunes to a secluded location and walked to the top of a dune and waiting in the sunset were champagne/ sparkling ,wine and beer only 3.5 % Alc which was probably the only downside for the beer drinkers wanting full strength, they presented us with little boxes of Indigenous inspired Canapés which were very nice and the location and sunset photo ops were fantastic and the general mood of our tour group was buzzing as the sun is finally setting we make our way to the dinning area protected a bit with surrounding dunes as it was winter time and only about 10 degrees when the sun went down but plenty of outdoor heaters and a huge fire pit you can stand around to keep warm. We were all seated at our tables of 10 and we shared our table with some really nice people which increased our experience and so good to share this experience with others sitting under the stars it’s magic. The same drinks keep being supplied as the pre dinner drinks ( no full strength beer) . The dinner is an Indigenous inspired buffet table by table similar to a budget wedding set up , the food to my surprise was probably the best we had eaten on our whole trip ( I am a Chef by trade) . They had a bit for everyone a great selection and all very tasty and cooked perfectly considering the isolated location and container satellite kitchen the chef works out of and he just batch cooked to perfection, we had Crocodile salad, Kangaroo cous cous, succulent lamb cutlets, medallions of steak, every salad was beautiful from cauliflower to kale, mushroom risotto, vegetables etc etc and also a Dessert bar after the mains with cheeses cakes and mini pastries etc tea and coffee. The food was really good . They have a guide who has a talk about the stars and beyond while you sit in silence and listen to the surrounds crickets and silence it’s Amazing a great experience a must do in Uluru.

Magical experience in the desert overlooking Uluru. This is an experience well worth doing and will give you great. memories. Well organised and the night sky talk is very interesting but its simply the setting that is the star of the show.

This was the most expensive tour during my visit but sooo worth it! Totally enjoyed the dinner whilst watching the sun set over Kata Tjuta and Uluru. The story right after was very informative. Dessert was fantastic. No photos of the food as I enjoyed the discussions in our table.

This was a most enjoyable experience with friends and new acquaintances from all over the world. Brilliant views while sipping wine and canapes on the top of a large sand dune (with paved area on top and good track up there that was suitable for wheel chairs). After the sunset viewing we moved to the dinner tables and the food was quite a large selection of many well cooked foods and more wine and water. Very good - do it!

Loved every minute of this experience. Wait staff very attentive. My glass was never empty! Perfect views and the sound of the didgeridoo in the background was magical. Nice buffet would have liked a little more variety though.

The Sounds of Silence Dinner was another experience we were so glad we did.
Although like a lot of things here it was expensive but well worth it. For us this is a once in a life time trip and with all the lockdowns in this country it was the perfect time to see everything with out huge crowds.
I still recommend booking way in advance as it is very popular and if you are only here for a few days you may not get in.
The coach pick us all up at Sails and it took about 20 minutes where we where greeted by our lovely host Maddy. A short walk up a red sand path (don’t wear heels) We were shown to a viewIng platform and served straight away with bubbles or beer by the friendly attentive staff. The drinks were generous and so were the gorgeous canapés which came around regularly as we watched the sunset on the rock and chatted to the other guests, took lots of pictures and of course selfies. Once the sun was down it was time to move up the path to our dining area. It was stunning the white cloths and silver service on the back drop of lights and red sand was magical. We were lucky and had and fun table the night went so fast as we all chatted about where we were staying where we were from and our plans for our stay. The cousins that were traveling together made our night and we were lucky enough to run into them at several different places on our visit. The music was relaxing and the man who played the didgeridoo was fabulous. The meal was served buffet style and showcased bush flavours it was delicious. Finally when the night ended we were shuttled back to the accomodation and said goodbye to all the other lucky guest who shared this experience with us. A great night

You are picked up from hotel about 1 hour prior to sunset and taken to a Uluru and Kata Tjuta (olgars) sunset viewing area. At the viewing area canapés and drinks are served while the Sun is setting. Then just a short walk to under the stars dining area for a buffet BBQ with drinks and desserts.
A talk about the stars , a look at (in our case Jupiter including four of its moons) by
Telescope. After that return transport to your accommodation. This is a great experience for something special.

What an incredible experience. From the welcoming booming voice of our host with 'Palya' to beautiful foods, an entertaining and great tour of the stars with Harry, and our great waiter Wesley, we had a ball!!! Worth spending the $$ for the memories!

Great place for a relaxing and wonderful dinner.Arrived at the sunset spot and we’re given champagne and canapés which were nice whilst seeing the sun go down.

Then a short walk down and the dinner was a self service buffet with good quality food. The talk about that stars was also wonderful.

My advice don’t eat anything before Sounds of Silence

Such an incredible experience under the stars made even better by the lovely staff (in particular Erin, Des and Tim!). The food was incredible (with plenty of pescatarian/vegetarian options) and dessert was even better. And, of course, the entertainment was amazing.
