The Wintjiri Wiru Show is a show like no other. It is a drone, projector and laser show telling the ancient Mala story. There were over 1100 drones that lit up the sky together with the lasers while the projector projected on the trees and the beautiful outback and told the story. The colours were so beautiful and effects amazing…. I’ve never seen an ocean in the outback, or fires..The special effects were great. You get the best view of Uluṟu and Kata Tjuṯa as the sun sets while having wine and cheese or dinner if you choose but be quick booking otherwise you’ll miss out like we did. We could only get the wine and cheese and got free flowing wine top ups and a generous selection of yummy cheeses and fruit. The service was great. I was also lucky enough to experience a moonrise, something I’ve never seen before. It was so beautiful….and the stars ✨🌟 Amazing 🤩 Unfortunately they don’t let you take photos or videos while the show is going on and I respect that, but here are a few pics before and after the show.
Only bad thing was we couldn’t hear the audio intro in the bus on the way up to the viewing platform otherwise it was a great experience.
If you ever get a chance, I strongly encourage you all to come and see this amazing show with a magical backdrop. I think it’s better than the fields of light and really worth it.

An amazing cultural experience blending old traditional stories of the Mala people with an awesome light and laser show with drones. We loved it, with Uluru as a backdrop, it's our highlight of our trip to the rock. As you are not allowed to film it, I can only post twilight shots and the lasers showing off the bush landscape at the end.

What an incredible experience. Every staff member was attentive and lovely, the show was a very special way to experience the local Aṉangu culture and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this unique show!

Words cannot explain how amazing this was. I cannot say enough positive things about this show. The lights, drones, food, service, venue, 10/10. Yes it's pricey, but worth every cent. Picked up by bus and taken directly to the wooden path to the sunset deck, drinks on arrivals, canapes which were all divine, then picnic while watching the show. Well organised. Absolutely amazing!

Loved the show and the whole experience. Confused when we were called on the afternoon of our show to “confirm” our pickup time as 5:55pm - we were expecting a 8:25pm pickup. Glad the it was “rescheduled” because the longer experience was definitely worth it. We had small glasses of sparkling wine and a bag of delicious caramel & myrtle wattleseed popcorn. We watched the sun set with Kata Tjuta in one direction and Uluru in the other. The drone show was very professional with great sound and projections and lasers telling the Mala story.

Absolutely stunning…a nicely built broadwalk, the beautiful sunset view of uluru, the tasty food & drinks, the attentive services…all exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the chef, the canapés and the food inside the picnic box were delicious yet special…we could taste the bush tucker, crocodile, emu, kangaroo & ants in this dinner experience. Portion was so generous that we had to bring the tasty dessert back to the hotel.
With an excellent audio system, the drone show was able to create an immersive experience that I truly appreciated. Just couldn’t rate this experience highly enough.

Such a stunning experience. The canapés, cocktails and gourmet hamper were sublime. Also the staff were excellent. I managed to get a 20% off but think it’s well worth the money. Loved the artistry behind the show. Truly bought the Mala story to life.

Highly recommended activity in Uluṟu. The drone show is amazing along with the excellent sound and laser lights, telling the Mala story. There was wine and popcorn while we watched great views of Uluṟu and Kata Tjuṯa during sunset.
Didn’t think the picnic basket for dinner is worth it so didn’t do it.
Please confirm the pickup time as it changes and the communication is not very good.
If the tour is cancelled due to weather, call the tour office directly (not the Ayers resort office)for rescheduling as they accommodate it.

Whether you choose the dining or the non-dining experience, this is as expensive as many other experiences at the Uluru resort. We did the Non-dining experience, and it was lovely. The show was well put together and the visuals beautiful. The snack box better than we expected. Photography of the show was not allowed so I can't post photos.

What a spectacular experience this was.
Upon arrival receiving a choice of two cocktails, which I thought you would only get the one as it states 'cocktail upon arrival' however I had coctails all night as I'm not a beer or wine drinker. With the wine they had white, red or rosé, not just red or white like other dinners.
The canapés were delicious and very varied.
The view of the sunset over Uluru and Kata Tjuta was stunning.
The dinner hamper contained a varied selection which was very bush tucker orientated as stated. Some of which was nice and some not so much but there was a great selection. The emu was absolutely delicious!
Even the people just came for the light show got a small cheese and cracker box.
The drone and light show although relatively short (approx 20 mins) was well worth it, it was amazing watching it with Ulura as the backdrop.
The staff were amazing! very attentive, always checking if you needed more drinks or anything.
If you can only do one dinner while there this is the one to do! (Field of light dinner (Sound of silence) was a huge dissapointment for us)

An absolutely incredible experience. I visited with my dad for the sunset dinner and show experience and it was the best. The setting, the atmosphere and the staff really make the experience worthwhile. 100% would recommend.

Cannot express how truly wonderful this show was. We did the dinner & show & although it was pricey it was worth every cent. The food was delicious, but the show itself was the highlight. Although it only goes for about 20 mins, from the moment the sound starts reverberating across the desert & the light & drones start it is mesmerising. The staff are also very attentive & wonderful. The only tip I would have is book a night at the beginning of your trip as the show is dependant on the right wind conditions & it may give you the opportunity to reschedule. The first night we were booked was cancelled due to the wind & we were booked the following & last night for the Field of Light Dinner. Vera who called about 2 hours before pick up with the bad news of the cancellation was able to swap our dinner experiences & luckily the following night the wind was better, although the 2nd show for the night was merged with the earlier one as the winds were scheduled to pick up later. This show is a must do! Highly recommend.

Just the best experience. Loved every bit of it. Hope it becomes a permanent feature at uluru because I will be back to see it again.

Expensive, but well worth it. Definitely something I will remember for some time.
Lucky there is plenty of food to help soak up all the cocktails they hand out. I could have nearly done with some handrails on the walkway for the return trip to the bus..

Not often I give a 5 for anything, but the food package and the show were spectacular. Staff were friendly and attentive, insuring everyone got a sample of drinks and wine. The picnic hamper supplied to each person was super great. The foid was chef prepared and really supplied a true sample of foods and meats. Smoked meats, prawns , salads and desserts. We could not eat it all and bought it back to our unit for later. It was not cheap, and you could have just purchased the show. Price included pick up and food, drone show and bus back to your accommodation. If everything stays as it was, good value for money.
