One of the best Lookouts of the whole area in my opinion! Great way to see both places (Uluru in the first place and Kata Tjuta from afar) and at the same time also to see the sunrise over Uluru.. I loved it!!

This lookout is right in the middle of the ring road at Yulara. It's the perfect spot to see Uluru at sunrise and sunset. You can access it easily, however it is not suitable for wheelchairs and prams unless you are prepared to push through parts of soft sand. A couple of things to know about this place before you venture up. There are signs along the track that direct you to STAY ON THE TRACK. There's two big signs at the top when you're facing Uluru that state re-vegetation is taking place and to stay off that area. So, for the LOVE OF ALL THINGS MIGHTY... PLEASE RESPECT THE AREA. Don't do what these people did and stand in the area that rangers are trying to take care of. Also, in the peace and quiet of the morning, don't speak in your normal way. If you talk, whisper. People don't want to hear your conversation. They want to experience the beauty of the area. Even better, just don't talk. Watch what Mother Nature is doing for you. And you'll be rewarded, whether it's cloudy, like our morning was or if it's clear.

Amazing views! Built right in the middle of the tourist precinct of Uluru, this lookout is a wonderful spot to grab your first view of Uluru. Sunrise and sunset are busy but not uncomfortable and although you are not allowed to drink, the sign is small and hidden and most people do.

The closest look out to the resort, easy access and great spot for stargazing too.

Great walk, listed as grade 4 carried my 2 yr old through the loop with minimal difficulty, couple of steep rocky sections that are well maintained

Small but excellent lookout only 5-10 mins walk from Ayers Rock resort hotels. I suspect it gets overlooked as everyone drives closer to the rock, but well worth taking the short stroll up a slight hill. Photography options are good too, with in the other direction looking back over the hotels.

It is a short trail (10 min walk) to the lookout point from Desert Gardens Hotel. There is resort free shuttle service that drops to the trail to the lookout point in case you are staying in different hotel in the resort. This is the best lookout point in the Ayers Rock Resort.

Great place to watch the sunset at Uluru. Walk up the path slightly to get a good spot away from the crowds of tourists having their sunset drinks.
