Friendly Grocer Cremorne

OK selection of goods, prices higher than supermarkets. Chief problem is random opening hours - just not open when you need something in a hurry. Definitely an INconvenience store!

Don’t go here. The people have always been rude and yes a bit overpriced which is fine.. Until I got ripped off today. Charging me what I worked out to be 9 dollars for a standard loaf of bread. Check your purchases before the mid age worker (son) tries to rip you off with the eftpos machine!!! I went out of my way catching him out for ripping me off, buying the same stuff (planned). It was accident. Got my money back “you don’t wan? Put it back” tactically trying to rip off people “scum”

This shop is a rip off. Check the price on the Eftpos machine before paying. Almost got charged $20 for the pack of the toilet paper, when the price tag on the shelf was $9.99. No price tags for the fruits and veggies, so 5 potatoes cost me $9. Convenience stores have always been more expensive which is fine when you need something last minute and close to home, but this is a total rip off. I am surprised their business still running

If I could give zero stars, I would. The proprietor stood menacingly in the doorway, watching me park outside. They were closing up at 7, even though their hours say they close at 8. They also refused to take my bottles for Return and Earn, even though the website says they are a Return and Earn point. I suggested they contact Return and Earn to remove themselves from the site and he said no. Extremely rude!

Have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt numerous times only to have the owner attempt to rip me off each time. Before paying on the EFTPOS, check twice what price you're paying. I will walk all the way up to Military Rd to avoid this place now sadly. Wait for a new owner.

I was racially profiled. I walked in and the Lady didn't want me to browse around as she was worried I'm going to steal? I just wanted to buy a drink, very rude, ruined my day and holiday.

The manager it’s the rudest person that I already meet, and ironically she still calls herself “friendly”. I just asked about the price and she was trying to kick me out of the store, I’m surprised that the shop it's still open for so long.

They're not doing Return & Earn either, eventhough the Return & Earn website mentions they do.

Outrageous prices. Questionable customer service. Limited choice. Frankly I will avoid as much as I can!
