Amici Di Kogarah

This place never disappoints and is my go to place when I want something nice in Kogarah. Almost every pasta dish can be made with gluten free pasta and they vegetarian options too. My favourite dish is the pasta with tomato and beef ragout. Pasta is fresh and the sauces are so tasty. Portion sizes are good for lunch. Staff are super friendly and greet you upon entry and exit. Such a good example of Italian hospitality!

I tried the special lunch spaghetti bolognese and I was surprised how tasty and good it was. I was thinking that lunch special will have less ingredients but i was wrong.

I've been coming here for over a year, and I don't know why the negative comments are. The food is good. The service is good too - although a crazy waiter was working before Christmas, he probably isn't there anymore ;) Last Saturday, the service deserved a bonus for the high quality of service.

Great food and lovely service. Penne Fume is my new go to. Would love to see an extra couple of prawns in there, but the pasta tastes amazing! All of the staff are enthusiastic and obviously love their job. Pricing is great too.

Amazing pizza!! The base of the pizza was so soft and was cooked in a woodoven... you can definitely taste the difference compared to a conventional oven. Nice setting as well, took my wife here with some wine and pizza. Highly recommend..try the pizza!

Good food, great atmosphere and service! We were just driving around the area and decided to try a new place for dinner. Never thought that we will find such a great place for dinner. This restaurant is our new favourite place to go to. Definitely will be back soon!

Definitely very authentic Italian flavour! Apparently almost every chefs, waiters and waitresses in this restaurant are all Italians. Great ability. I visited quite many times, never disappointing. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful italian experience at Amici. I went there with some of my friends on friday night and we tried some homemade gnocchi and spaghetti cooked in different sauces and some of the wood-fire pizzas. The service too is very good and friendly. I guarantee and recommend absolutely this place.

Always a great place to eat Italian food

Haven't had Italian this good in a long time. Kicked off the meal with a bruschetta and a garlic base followed by a delicious woodfired pizza, fresh pasta and a few scoops of gelato. The bases were fresh and chewey with crisp, crunchy and in places burnt edges. The contrasting textures adding to the whole mouth feel. Gnocchi and pasta dishes made fresh in-house and arrived at the table with fresh cracked pepper, parmesan and one of the biggest smiles. Our server and the staff in general were amazing. The meal paired well with Asahi, but Peroni probably would have been a better choice.

Nice quiet place. Friendly staff and great service. Would be a good place to bring the kids for some lovely Italian food. The Bruschetta on the antipasto menu was too die for. Just gorgeous.

I don't normally eat out Italian because my mum makes very authentic and tasty dishes from pasta to pizza. Amicis is the Most authentic Italian food I've eaten out. Pasta sauce is tasty, pasta cooked aldente! Delicious and consistent which Is what I always look for in a top quality rrestaurant. The pizza is amazing and traditionally cooked... Woodfire with simple and tasty ingredients. Staff are always so welcoming.

This place is so beautiful for family , kids friends and for everyone. Food is so good tasty and so hygienic over here. Even the Staffs are friendly and their service is good too.mussels are too good and pizza was the best .. we like to go their again

I went there on a date with this girl. It didn’t work out with me and her but something really funny happened. I didn’t know that a mojito had alcohol in it. I had driven from bowral to Kogarah fyi and was supposed to drive back and i have a license which states i am not allowed to drink at all. I ordered a mojito, drank it, liked it so much, ordered one more, enjoyed the good food and then went back to bowral.
The girl isn’t with me but these memories always will be.

I've been in Amici di Kogarah a few times since I came in Sydney and I started eating pizza (as a good italian). The pizza is just amazing, fnally a really italian one! ;)
Then I decided to try the restaurant section. Guys believe me you MUST try the Restaurant as well! And obviously don't forget the dessert 😜

Amici di Kogarah is a restaurant-pizzeria where you can find one of the best pizzas in Sydney, also delicious pasta and their magnificent antipasti, with their wood-fired oven they bake the typical Napoletana pizza that is a delicacy! I will definitely repeat!
