Summer Salt Restaurant exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service, inviting ambiance, and delectable cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's warmth made us feel right at home. The diverse menu showcased a culinary masterpiece, and each dish we tried was a symphony of flavors. The attention to detail in presentation was remarkable, elevating the dining experience. Whether savoring seafood or indulging in a decadent dessert, every bite was a delight. The panoramic views added a scenic backdrop to our meal, making it a memorable dining affair. Summer Salt is a culinary gem that seamlessly blends culinary excellence with a welcoming atmosphere.

Had a lovely meal here with my wife recently. We have all seafood meals and all were cooked beautifully. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Although much more than what we would normally spend on a meal, it was definitely worth the indulgence on this occasion.

The service and food were great. We finished the seafood pasta within minutes it was so good. Special shoutout to Renata for making our evening even more special with her kind smile and amazing service. She made sure we were well taken care of the whole night. She was a gem 💎

Excellent Friday lunch.
The slow roasted maple carrots with smoked yoghurt were out of this world.
Of course, you just can't beat the view.

Just wonderful. The staff were eager to please, we felt very spoilt.

New owners have kicked off fabulously.

If I could leave 10 stars for this restaurant I would. But, it is what it is , so 5 out of 5 is what they are getting.
The food was amazing, we ordered the “hot seafood” platter and oh my goodness, this chef really knows how to cook and put the flavours together. . Atmosphere is great and service was fantastic. Especially our gorgeous waitress RENATA. Thank you for being so wonderful and thank you for making my birthday even better with your professionalism and kindness. <<~~~ this lady deserves a raise. 😘

The food and service were excellent. Superb waterfront views.

We had a beautiful lunch for my sister's 40th yesterday..the service was outstanding, our waitress was fairly new to the job and was amazing!!! She was so attentive and helped with whatever we needed..it made the day so much nicer..we had two children and two babies but we're made to feel like this was no issue at all. The food and view are incredible and we could have happily sat there all afternoon and into the night..we were greeted by the host in a friendly and warm manner which helped start the lunch in such a positive way . I cannot thank the team enough for a lovely experience..we will be back!

This has to be one of the best places in the Shire to dine, particularly for lunch on a clear day or on a clear summer evening. The food is spectacular, the service is very attentive and friendly and the view is to die for, especially if you get a table by the window. Loved every minute of dining here.

My feelings are a bit mixed, but I still gave 5 stars.

Pros:
- brilliant service. The staff were friendly and met our every need in a timely manner. In fact, the staff really made my experience.
- view from windows was a spectacular seascape.
- the atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed

Cons:
- small servings compared to other places and you have to order your sides at extra cost. Would love to see more generosity in future.
- the food was expensive in that I did not feel the quality was commensurate with the price (i.e. my steak was tough). Probably paying for the view (which is worth it).

All this said, I did actually have a really lovely evening here and I will definitely come again.

Been 12 years since I first went here. Today was amazing food has definitely been taken to the next level and service was excellent.
Would highly recommend for any occasion.

I attended a birthday lunch here and everything was amazing! My partner and I tried each other's meals as a little taste test and every dish was simply delicious. The view alone is worth the visit! Would love to try this again in the future.

Dined here last Thursday and had a wonderful last evening with our American family members leaving the next day. The staff were super accommodating at moving our group to another table as there was a very large birthday party going on in the corner and it with our group size it was abit hard to hear other talking. Really appreciated this as it was our last chance to talk to each other. They were also able to grill the local fish one of our visitors loves.

Drinks and food were all excellant and always the view.

The location of Summer Salt is phenomenal, directly on the beach! We had dinner and we’re fortunate enough to have a table by the window so we watched the sun set!!
The food was very good, reasonably priced, service was incredibly friendly and pleasant.
We’ve been to Summer Salt a few times now and enjoy it more each time.

Good food, great service. What I like about Summer Salt is how they put their own twist on traditional seafood dishes, plus others. It's always worth checking their menu regularly as they change it up and keep it fresh.
Plenty of accessible parking with accessible entrance. Hot and Cold Seafood platter, a 10/10 yum!

My top favourite “designer” food with a view in Sydney.
My friends took me there early November 2022 (overdue review) for my birthday celebration and I became obsessed with everything about this place: anything on the menu is just yummy, amazing view and very friendly/ attentive staff.
My personal favourite dishes:
- Carl’s signature duck (I keep going back for it)
- Angus Rump with gnocchi
- Squid with mango, mint & labneh (entrée)
- Salmon sashimi (entrée)
- Banana pudding (dessert)
- Strawberry Soufflé (dessert)

My family and I traveled from out of Sydney to sit down at an exquisite lunch to celebrate a special occasion
I take my hat off to the floor staff, the restaurant and the attention for detail.
A big shoutout to Natasha! She was absolutely amazing with service and an absolute credit to this establishment.
We were all extremely impressed with the food, drinks and fresh seafood platters.

Thanks for an amazing Mothers Day lunch with such an amazing group of staff that are truly passionate about making sure you have the best experience and feel right at home. Delicious meal, cocktails and wine- nana nap required post meal I was so full!!
I didn’t get a picture but the dumplings in Red Curry sauce was out of this world ( PLEASE CAN YOU BOTTLE ME SOME OF THAT SAUCE ASAP LIKE U DID DURING LOCKDOWN - I soaked every single last drop of it up from my bowl with the sourdough bread!!

I had a great experience the other night and was hosted by the lovely Sam. She took care of us the whole night and was great at recommending dishes. The food was delicious and very well flavoured. I will be back again.
