ACT Pathology Belconnen

Always fantastic service, particularly since they can be quite busy at times. The staff are excellent, professional and quick. Sometimes they like to chat, othertimes not, but always professional and in the end you're there for a medical procedure, not a haircut. The only problem is knowing where to stand while you wait as the corridor gets busy and half the seats are off limits with current spacing requirements

Have dropped in three times and haven't had to wait long. The staff are very efficient and polite, they gave me great confidence. I don't really understand the negative reviews saying they don't pick up the phone; I can't see the need for a receptionist if you don't need a booking to have blood taken.

My daughter and I just had the best experience having our blood taken at ACT Pathology. The service was prompt despite being walk-ins, and the man taking our blood (I think his name was Tariq?) was excellent. It was painless and swift, and Tariq's (?) bedside manner is awesome.

Had my GTT done today, and I couldn't have been more happy with the service that was provided!
I'm that patient that has very small veins that are hard to find, but she did such a wonderful job each time.

The ladies at ACT Pathology Belconnen are wonderful. My daughter doesn’t have the best time when having bloods, but the staff are amazing and make her feel the best she can in a difficult situation Thank you to the lady (I didn’t get your name) for staying back after your shift had finished just so this Mumma didn’t have to convince my daughter to come back another day when there were two of you.

Just walk in, you don't need a booking. I've never even had to wait. They are friendly and don't need to stick me more than once, which is rare for me. I definitely prefer ACT to Laverty.

I had my blood collected there regularly, never wait too long, and staff are very efficient, care, and helpful. I prefer ACT pathology more than Laverty pathology based on my experience.

These negative reviews are totally not deserved and probably not legitimate - of course they don't answer the phone - they are taking blood - go somewhere else if you can't go in and make an appointment or persevere on the phone - other ACT Pathology centres have a receptionist - I have had to suffer regular blood tests for the past 30 years so I have scar tissue everywhere and little patience - the standard at Belconnen is always excellent and they are quick and efficient - such a nice contrast to other companies

well its a first for me. Walked in with Mum and did the paper work and then went straight in. No waiting at all!!

Staff were professional, kind and understanding

My husband and I have frequently used the service. It is efficient and quick and friendly. Specially the test results will generally be available within 4-6 hrs in my DHR.
However, no half hour parking which is needed for blood test is available in front of the building except for parking in the tower. It would be perfect if half hour parking were available in front of the building. Then I would give it five star rating.

What can I say, once you get into the medical centre you hand over your specimen and a nice nurse straps your arm, takes a blood sample and you leave and wait for your doctor's advice.

Easy and fast

Have had good experiences at this place in the past however after today I will be using other pathology services. The collector who attended to me was obviously in a rush to close and was very rude to me when I asked questions. I ended up leaving to find another pathology company who would answer my questions.

EXTREMELY Rude pathology front staff especially that short hair lady. She was obvious that she doesn't like our background. She was discriminating and her gestures were obvious. Such a shame that such people still exist in health care industry. Couldn't believe her behaviour towards me and the patient. She clearly needed a lesson to behave with her patients. Would never recommend or go ever in this place. HORRIBLE PATHOLOGY STAFF.

What an awful service delivered by two ladies, pathology collector, at ACT Pathology Belconnen community health centre, I have not received such a horrible service here in Australia. Also what a discrimination with people, especially by skin colour tone. Be respectful and Keep in mind that we are the people who pay a significant amount of tax; thus, the authority should take care of it seriously.

Total run around. The pathology request noted health co op charnwood. So we went there....no closed up - no sign or note on door advising of new arrangements. Off we go to ACT belc health....shambles. new building squished into teeny tiny room. Dreadful !!!

Staff do not answer the phone!! Needing to make an appointment and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone at any time of day. Russian lady was lovely when previously visiting site, it's the only saving grace.
