The Cove Indian Restaurant

The Cove is located in a cosy yet accessible location and has major Indian Hillstation vibes. You step into a villa of sorts that offers semi private seating in rooms for group gatherings as well as outdoor seatings which gives you the feel of outdoors but the warmth of indoors in this stormy weather. We had a platter and goat curry with naan. The samosa in the platter got my attention and were the right amount of crispy for the rainy weather and kebabs were cooked to perfection. The chicken was super soft. Fish fry and the prawn were amazing too! The Goat curry has a rich gravy and the tomato did shine through. I'd like to know the dressing ok the salad next time. Will definitely recommend and visit again :)

Food is great. Place is very homey. Host pleasant. We chose a set menu. The entree, share plate for 4, was a delightful experience to the taste bud and other senses. Felt like all our senses livened up after eating this.
We did have a combination of mains ( my apoplogies for not having a photo). The bonus to the set menu is if there is a different dish you prefer in the same category, e.g. curry for curry, you can change it.
Naan bread, varoius flavours, delicious!! (Ive never had fruit naan before but Ill definitely be having that again)
Dessert was true Indian style. I cant remember the names of each but its also another share plate. Very tantalizing to the taste buds

The wife and I had dinner here last night. I'm amazed at the quality of the food. I wasn't expecting it to be as fantastic and delicious as it was. After visiting the kitchen and speaking with the chefs. I can say the restaurant is very clean. Even the wife can't stop talking about the food the following morning. Five stars are not enough. Arvid the manager made us very welcome and comfortable as we devoured a very memorable experience. Thank you.

The Cove is the best Indian restaurants that my partner and I have every been to. The customer service was amazing, so kind and attentive. The quality of food was exceptional and authentic. It was the most beautiful experience.

Friendly, accommodating staff with timely service. Great food at sensible prices, and the place has a charming colonial vibe to it.

Food portions might seem a little low at first glance, but rest assured you'll easily be getting your money's worth due to the food being rich and heavy. Lots of spice and flavour packed into those pots, would definitely be coming again!

The best Indian restaurant in Perth, period.
First visited 5 years ago and we must have gone back 20 times since then, birthdays, guests from abroad, any occasion to go we'll take.
The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful, the setting is exotic and the food is to die for. Never been disappointed once.
Highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal at the cove. We have been driving past for so many years but can stay we will be stopping in regularly in future.

Amazing food, really tasty and great portion sizes for takeaway. The lamb Rogan Josh was so tender and flavoursome. The samosas were also tops, lots of flavour and crunchy and warm just how you want. We will be back again and again ! Prices for takeway were really good as well !!

The service and food was excellent. It was my birthday and this was certainly a treat.

It was a awesome experience. From the moment we walked in and smelt the aromatic spices we could not wait for our taste buds to be tantalized. We we were not disappointed.

Amazing food and service, prices are very competitive. Veg options always sublime and the bloke that runs it is an absolute delight. Malai Kofta is probably the best thing you will ever taste (granted, the quality varies somewhat with the chef). Would be awesome if they did potato and chickpea curry, but there's always Turban for that.

Our second visit here and have to say that the food is sensational and the service is friendly and prompt.
Quite possibly the best Indian we have had in Perth (and we’ve tried MANY)
One negative thing though (but not worth taking off a star) That back yard (and front yard) needs a cleanup and makeover. We be so much nicer to look out on a Indian themed yard rather than overgrown unkept greenery, and an old patio with broken and missing roof sections.

After a solid decade of visits, the Cove is still the benchmark by which I measure any Indian restaurant. To date, the lamb korma is still the best I've ever had, and likewise with the butter chicken - a family favourite. Dipping fresh baked naan in these delicious sauces is irresistible. Quality of ingredients is unsurpassed. The ambience of the restaurant is warm, inviting and luxurious, and this is helped by a genuinely friendly and hospitable staff. I always look forward to my next visit and commend it to everyone as an outstanding Indian restaurant.

Old style home with seating in each room, where individual groups can have their own private area if they wish. Staff very friendly and polite. Food nicely presented and taste of different sauces meat presented in was exceptional. Prices reasonable.

Food is wonderful and never had a bad meal, they always use the best quality and their meat is delicious. Buffet is huge and great value and you can eat as much as you like. Have this many times and all dishes are amazing. Either eat in or take away.

It's the best in Perth, though it's quite far from the city it's worth every penny for it cause being a Indian I feel they have not adulterated the restaurant for Australians and ensured the flavours are maintained just like India especially with respect to the spices. Thanks guys for making my trip a complete one by serving the best food. One must try their gulab Jamoon I just loved them to the core.
