Just breathtaking. Highly recommend even though it was very early in the morning and cold. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. A highlight of my trip.

Just did the basic $50 option with my Sister 1st night Uluru trip.
It set the scene for what was coming & felt a little magical field of lights gorgeous night sky & a shared experience 🥰 (I get that maybe a little more for young at heart ~ whimsical but a delight all the same.

It books out, so make sure you buy a ticket the day before. We really loved this art work. It was like a mini vivid, but with way less people. Also it is so spaced out that it at times felt like we were there alone.

Loved it, drinks and food hit the spot with the fantastic light show to finish the evening. Staff were very friendly

It’s really huge art exhibition and you can enjoy it!
It might not bright as you can see from this picture but it feeling so great when you around it and walk in the silence…

Highly recommended to book in advance for a couple day because it’s fully booked that day I do the tour.

We loved walking through and feeling immersed in the art. Thankfully we managed to book a night with no/little moon, which meant the lights and the stars stood out really well.

We did the experience with canapes and drinks with the idea that we wanted to see the sunset and see the installation from up on the dune.

There are many places around including in and out of the park where you can get great sunset views of Uluru, and although seeing the installation from the dune top does give a different perspective of the size, without a doubt we found the best part of the experience being the immersive walk in and through the installation itself.

If you can't do the canapes or dinner versions, I wouldn't feel you are missing out on much as far as the field of light itself is concerned.

Definitely worthy, we purchased the star pass. The colours are magnificent closest to a new moon. Great experience paired with some canapés and bubbles 🫧🌘🥂🫧

We did the Field of Lights sunset dinner. Picked up at 5.35pm and home by 10pm. Canapes and drinks on arrival, canapes were ok. View of the rock was fabulous. Moved into the dining area, where we sat with 6 other people, first course of rolls and tomato soup was bought to the table, second course was buffet style with lots of options crocodile, emu, kangaroo, lamb, barramundi, prawns, risotto and salads with native dressings. Desert was buffet style, lots of options including tea and coffee. It was a bit too dark while eating, even with the full moon you couldn't see your food. Views to the lights was from a distance. We had a lovely Didgeridoo player for 15min while we ate, and after dinner a star talk that was amazing. The night finished with 45 minutes to walk around the field of lights. Well worth the money spent, highly recommend it.

We went to the field of lights experience for sunset, including drinks, canapés, followed by three course meal. It also included the didgeridoo player and an expert in showing us the night sky and all the different star constellations. The staff were extremely friendly and made the whole experience really lovely and special for everyone. to have a meal in the desert but feel safe and thoroughly enjoy the experience, food, views, sunset and the field of light art installation made it the number 1 highlight of four days in Uluru.

Highly recommended, great for families and because we were seated at a large round table, we got to spend the evening getting to know two other families which was really special.

Brilliant. Jumper coat and trousers gets very cold in the morning. Some great photo opportunities. Welcome hot drink and biscuits served.

We did Field of Light Sunrise Tour. We really loved it. Seeing the lights and then watching the sun rising and reflecting on Uluru was amazing.

You'll need to buy tickets in advance. Is it worth it? Yes - money will come back, time will not.

It was nice being picked up (from our accommodation in the Ayers Rock Resort) by a coach dedicated to the Field of Light, and that it was not crowded, at least during my visit (with family, weekday, August, night time).

Be prepared for visitors to spoil the experience by demonstrating their photography ineptitude by using camera flash and flashlights, also those vain, social media types. Fortunately the installation is large enough for a degree of separation.

You'll not be able to walk around the entire installation, as there is a defined route to follow. You'll also have only 45 mins to enjoy it, as the one hour slot includes time to rendezvous with a guide, who'll give a talk about the installation first, and what to follow during your visit.

A criticism is that height would provide greater perspective over the field, so raised duckboards or viewing platforms would be a boon.

This is our first time to visit a place like this. We're so impressed with the illustrations and vibes.
We bought tickets for sunset and field of light Uluru. We got pick up from hotel to the viewing platform. Watching the sunset , waited till dark then walked down hill to the field.

Such an amazing experience! Did the sunrise tour with AAT Kings and it was magical too watch the desert come alive. As the sun rose and the lights dimmed...was truly spectacular

Pretty good installation. It's definitely worth the trip. I suggest trying to go there by yourself if you can rather than a tour, unless it is the dinner experience at the FOL.

We loved it. Canapés cold but tasty served with beer bubbles or soft drink.
Then short walk down to the spectacular lights. Bus pickup a bit hectic. Tour 2 hours not 2.5

Experienced this after a dinner under the stars, it's just amazing to see & hear how the idea was formed. A beautiful attraction to see. A Tip - bring a torch with you (or use your phone) pathway is very dark and their occasionaly is a tree or bush you may bump into 😉

It's worth visiting the field of lights at Uluru. We paid for just the general admission which was just over 40 per adult. It's not cheap but it is cool.

There are a lot of lights (50k+ I think). It was originally built to be a 6 month attraction back in 2016 but was extended due to popularity and has been extended again until 2027.

The dinner and lights tour would be cool but cost quite a lot but you will get to see it at sunset and get some great photos. General admission starts when it's pitch black so you won't see Uluru.

Bring a good camera! My Galaxy S23 takes good night photos but a lot of mobile cameras do not and it will all look blurry.

Incredible experience to see the fields of light going from the dark to the sunrise of Uluru .
