The people here are awesome! We had a lot of problems with a rental car and they even called AVIS for us to manage everything and convince them to pay as they gave us a car which was not ready to drive. Thank you so much for saving our vacation and being soo nice, friendly and competent 😊

Just wanted to thank Alice and Sam, what a great place this is.
I called from Coober Pedy, we had developed a noise in the steering of our Honda Euro. Upon arrival at Ayers Rock Automotive they got straight on to it. The car was over the pit within 10 min of us arriving, Sam diagnosed the problem after a short drive and had the new cv assembly ordered which had to come from Adelaide. We had to extend our stay by 1 day waiting for the parts, once they arrived the car was ready to go within 4 hours. The bosses wife dropped us back at the resort and picked us up when the car was ready. They quoted $2600 plus GST which included the cv assembly and 2 arms, and finished up charging me $2350 including gst because the job didn't take as long, Wow what honesty. Thank-you so much guys you saved our holiday. How could anyone expect better service than that? We just got back to Sydney having driven 9600 km with no problems.

Alice, Alice, who the heck is Alice...... A bloody marvel, that's who Alice is, a gem in Yulara, going well above and beyond her job requirements.
My vehicle was booked in with Ayers rock automotive for a vehicle inspection ready for my NSW registration. There was more than a couple of problems with finalising the registartion, Alice saved me 16hrs in traval, a bucket load of cash and a huge headache. Non of which Alice had to do but helped me immensely.
Thanks again Aeyrs rock automotive and Alice...... I'll not forget the coffee and cake next time I'm through 😀

These guys were awesome. Personable and put our mind at ease knowing our vehicle was up to date for the long journey ahead. Even helped with some spare odds and ends. Answered questions and got us in straight away.

Phoned them up with a mechanical issue. The lovely woman on the phone said to bring it right in. I arrived and discussed the problem with the staff, and the mechanic got straight on it. The young man was very thorough and polite, and he showed me exactly what the issue was, so there was no doubt of getting swindled. The cost was very reasonable considering the location and the immediacy of the job. I was expecting a higher hourly rate if I'm honest.

I had to go back two days later for some oil. This time, I dealt with the owner, Kurt. He was super helpful as my vehicle is very new and requires a very particular oil. As a precautionary measure, Kurt contacted his oil supplier's technician to confirm the correct oil for my vehicle. This level of service and professionalism is sadly lacking at most automotive workshops. But here, they have bucketloads of service and professionalism with a great dose of customer focus. Would happily highly recommend to anyone needing any mechanical work or emergency repairs whilst out in the Red Centre.

Let us camp at their gate when we ran into mechanical trouble..very friendly and did what they could ..thank you guys ! Btw our carvan was sold to a person in yulara!!!!!

I like to say a big thank you to Ayers Rock Automotive for helping me out today after I broke the back canopy window of the Ute at Yulara. They were very friendly and helpful just gave me a piece of Perspex free of charge to put over the back of the canopy and getting us back on the road. I can’t thank you enough🙂

I turned up at ayers rock automotive on a Friday at 4pm with a split radiator hose and was nearly about to be stuck at the resort for days until a part could be ordered in, but thankfully the guys managed to find me a spare hose to do a temporary fix and get me back on the road. The staff were really helpful and the service was fairly priced.

Fantastic service. Replaced our shredded tyre when we rocked up and we're back on the road in 30mins. Most expensive single tyre I've ever purchased but when there are no other options nearby, don't really have a choice but beats driving 80kph on a space saver tyre in the Outback which comes with it's own dangers. Very friendly and great customer service.

Rang early in the morning to see if they could replace two tyres on my van. Confirmed their stock and gave me a price. Replaced my tyres that morning while I waited. Fantastic service. Thank you Alice and to the tyre fitter. Quite happy to pay that little extra for the isolation. Good work 👍

Awesome job, spare tyre on coach changed to front drivers side steerer in 20 minutes or so 👍

We got flat tyre and they help us fix it immediately.We can go on our trip in Ululu😀How lucky are we!

The team at Ayers Rock Automotive is absolutely brilliant. They are friendly, caring and professional. Willing to go the extra mile. I blew my alternator 160kms from Yulura. Through NRMA roadside assistance they dispatched a Truck to collect my landcruiser and camper van. They dropped me safely at the Yulara campground late in the evening. Next morning they diagnosed the fault sourced a new Alternator from Alice Springs and writhing 48 hours had it fitted and the the landcruiser is up and running with minimum disruption to my journey at a very fair price given the remote location. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Nothing but praise for Kurt and his team. I had a minor mechanical problem with my tour bus and he went out of his way to fit me in first thing the next morning and I was back on the road in 45 minutes. Great service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Smashed 200 series back window on GCR. They had rear window overnighterd from Alice Springs and fitted next day. Great service and workmanship.

Great service!! From Alice (i think that was her name) on the front desk, to Michael in the workshop. Fast, efficient and professional from start to finish.

Extremely happy with the service here; while visiting Uluru our radiator hose got a crack in it, but Bruce saved the day! Not only did he tend to our vehicle immediately, but he went above & beyond to ensure our car was fixed and perfectly drive-able to avoid any breakdowns in the middle of nowhere. He prioritised our fix for the same day as we had onward travel plans booked and truly gave us not only great help but excellent advice and assistance even after I asked my hundredth question about the car! The price was extremely reasonable considering it's the only mechanic for miles - we were beyond happy with the outcome & made it back fine in our beloved 'Sunny the Subaru'! Thank you so much to Bruce & the friendly team at Ayers Rock Automotive! :)
