Designed for all children and abilities. Fully fenced with internal and external seating areas. Nice seating deck and bbqs around outside area.

Expanded carpark with over 10+ disabled parking spots , 2 extra long spots for large utes or cars with trailers. Roundabout at the end of route for pickup/drop offs.

Aero glider (wheelchair accessible) is back up and functional!

Due to recent windy weather 1 of the shade sails has broken, was removed and the area sectioned off until the replacement sail arrives and is fitted back on. This has blocked out the larger grass area as well for picnics and games.

Overall the playground is still fun and inviting , will require more maintenance in the new future as the wooden play structure is showing signs of wear and tear which is expected due to high volume of visitors.

Incredible children’s playground located just near Lake Burley Griffin!

The park itself is well presented with great facilities including a public toilet with baby change facilities. The playground facilities have been setup to be disability friendly with many of the playground items accessible from wheel chairs.

There is a large sandpit with toy digging equipment, swims and a large climbing play set. There is plenty of chairs with shade covers and BBQ facilities nearby if you want to make a day of it.

The park is surrounded by a fence system which makes it safe for your children running a little crazy as well!

A consideration is parking which can fill up pretty quickly.

Awesome place for kids to play. Half the playground has shade cloths. A big variety of play areas from water gums, slides, swings and climbing house. Has toilet and baby facilities. Pram friendly. We spent more time here than expected despite being a hot summer's day at 35 degrees.

Great place for younger children.

When we visited with our nearly-3-yr-old we pleasently noticed children of similar age group as well.

My son could play with all equipment/apparatus there, ranging from a large play structure with slides, a larger slide suitable for adults to slide with children, different swings, a seesaw ship, water features, mirrors, sand pit, musical apparatus - equipment had a nice theme to it and parents were generally enjoying the time with children creating a fun and safe environment.

Some areas had good coverage/shade, however the larger play equipment didnt have much shade.

The large play space was fenced off/enclosed for additional safety for children, there are also bubbler/water fountain and public bathrooms there.

Quite a large gated playground with lots of different equipment for a range of children age groups. There's some sensory play areas, water play and climbing equipment, alongside slides and swings. A few shaded areas for children and parents too.

Incredible playground for all abilities. This playground is truly the gold standard and something for every playground design to aspire too. Accessible to all, plenty of shade, clean amenities and ample picnic places. The only issue is the parking is quite limited.

Pretty cool playground with lots of different and large play areas, very clean and well kept, my nephews had a great time here and would probably have stayed many hours longer if they could.

A beautiful place for kids of all ages. Can spend hours of time best place for outing and parties. It is part of kings park.

Great playground with sand pits and water jets. Suitable for a large age range.

Lovely fenced in playground that is wheelchair accessible as well. The children have a range of different slide and climbing options as well as wide spaces to run and play.

An exceptional playground, full of things to play on for all kinds of kids, and especially any with disabilities. There are loads of wheelchair accessible things. I was super impressed. We could have easily spent a few hours here if it wasn’t about to rain. We will certainly return, and the kids will be very excited about that!

Best playground!! Very clean with sand pit, swings, slides and much more. My son loves it! However there's not many parking around.

Most areas of the playground is undercover.

Works well for even slightly drizzly weather.

Massively wide slide able to accommodate 5 children at the same time.

A disabled swing and a disabled seesaw caters above what a normal park has.

2 toilets, water bubbler, grassy area for picnic makes this a great location for an outing.

This is such a fun park! There's a wide variety of playground equipment and all of it is amazing I definitely recommend.

Awesome.. Fully fenced, lots of space and different things to play on 😃

One of the best playgrounds we have ever visited. This playground is great for ages 1-8. There are lots of mixed sunny and shaded areas. It is designed for all abilities and therefore very pram and wheelchair friendly. There is a main playground structure, water play section, sensory area, big drop slide, variety of swings and the list goes on! The great thing about this park is that it is fully fenced as well, right by Lake Burley Griffin. Parking is available, but timed so just be careful. Benches available to sit on.

Great location, easy to get off the highway for kids entertainment if you're travelling like we did. We were going to go to the Playground Pod (another park) but opted for this due to highway ease. Glad we did. Great for infant to school age. Maybe not as boisterous kids would enjoy. If I could remove half a star, I would for the dated toilet block but I'm fussy like that.

Lots of shade. Some water play. Good toilets. Big slide in the shade. Sandpit in the shade. A few different areas for all sorts of play. Enclosed. Plenty of seating. Amazing playground.

Amazing! It's a gated playground with everything a kid and parent could ask for. It was so clean my toddler was running around without shoes. I would recommend taking a full change of clothes though (including a hat and shoes) because there is a large water play area. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a change a scenery.
