Sarina Hotel

I recently arrived in Sarina later in the day needing accommodation as my planned accommodation had fallen through. A local couple suggested this hotel. Great recommendation!
Tammy went above & beyond to help me out, which I truly appreciated. The atmosphere was welcoming, the live singer guitarist was awesome and the food was delicious. Would stay there again for sure. A++

Great little pub, great customer service and food serving size

What a cracker pub!!! Such friendly service, cold beer, awesome food!

The courtesy bus driver Peter was super friendly and courteous.

Bar staff were very friendly and efficient!

Lastly the meal was a 10/10 plus! Had the Hawaiian Parmi and it was HUGE! I’ve tried a lot of parmis at a lot of different pubs and this is number 1!

Wow! Very surprised!
After trying 3 steaks in 3 nights and finally trying the steak at the hotel I am staying, This is the best one of the 3!
Steak was cooked perfectly.

Heaps of chippies.
and the best part. REAL PEPPERCORN SAUCE! all other places have store bought rubbish, but at Sarina Hotel you can actually taste that it is home made, and even made with Brandy is it should be.
Absolutely delicious!

Accommodation

Rooms are very spacious!
They are cleaned every day which is a massive bonus especially when working in dirty environments like I do.
Fresh towels and linen is great to come back to.

Repaired a broken window for Brad and had a beer, friendly staff and the food smelt great.
Will definitely be going back there for a feed and amother beer. Highly recommend this place for a feed or a drink.

I stopped here with a group of German tourists at the Pub for lunch, and it was by far the best food we had from Cairns to River Heads. It's really worth it to stop here for lunch or dinner, socialise with the locals, have a beer, and enjoy your time. Great value for price 👍 👌.

Do yourself a favour, if you’re planning to stay in Mackay, stay here instead, you won’t regret it.

Really good value hotel and the staff are very polite and helpful. Traveling up or down the cost it's definitely better to stop in here rather then going all the way into Mackay. Will be back

Cheap, no thrills room. Bed was comfortable, air-con was good. And a good meal down in the pub. Taps were down at the time, but the stubbies were cold!

Great meals at a great price. Plenty of off main road parking.
